Am I the only one?

@Mizmazzle LOL. I almost added a bit about being single, but I thought it was obvious. They have to really love you if they'll suffer rubbing up against denim all night and getting indigo all over their pajamas.
-
My initial response when I saw the original comment - "lol"
my follow up response "...what bedsheets have I got that I don't mind getting covered in indigo.....?" -
@T4920 It's 21oz. It's not like denim with a dyed weft. You have to use every tool at your disposal to fade it.
-
Ah man Filthy always slept in his. I very rarely do it myself, usually with the rationale of wearing em in/out.
-
@Mizmazzle haha my wife’s away right now, perhaps I’ll give it a go. Funnily, my 4 year old loves getting into our bed at night but always sleeps on my wife’s side. I said tonight while mummy’s away you can get in with me and she said “NO WAY YOU’RE ALWAYS NAKED” perhaps I’ll stick on my overdyed lefty and see if she’s happier with that.
-
@kantian What is it about jackets?! @Mizmazzle knows exactly what I'm talking about.
I had a convo with someone last night about flying in jeans. I'll fly to another continent in my denim. IDGAF. The guy I was talking to last night will only fly in sweats. No thanks.
-
I never pass up the opportunity to wear my XHS when flying. And also make sure to be wearing the proper shirt:
-
@flannel-slut I get patted down EVERY time I wear XHS.
-
Hah great thread topic. I've actually only got into raw denim at the start of last year, I have barely any fades on my jeans as I work from home most days and have like 20 pairs of jeans in rotation (yes within the year, always looking at more too!)
I've slept in my jeans but wouldn't do a jacket/denim shirt, also would need to be cold otherwise I'd wake up sweating
-
The only IH piece of clothing I’ve slept in is my pale rider when New to try and soften it up the leather was and still is super tough so I gave it a go which pissed my wife off no end with the squeaky noises so that got knocked on the head .
May be wrong but I don’t see how sleeping in denim will make it fade , movement is key .. -

@Mister_Brue I do it just because I love to wear it but yes just shirts.

@Mister_Brue I think it puts a lil patina on there
-
@mclaincausey For sure. I don't wear things that are clearly dirty, and I have a pretty liberal washing philosophy. I'm not sleeping in my front yard.
-
@Mister_Brue Honestly, this is the main reason for doing it. At best, I suspect the actual fades are negligible. I think it does contribute to molding the denim to your body. I move a lot during my sleep. Sprawl my arms out. I think it helps in setting crease in the shoulders and sleeves.
