IH-634S - 21oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

The inseam will stay plus or minus a little bit from what it says in the sizing table.
If you want a longer inseam, then look at some of the other 634 variants:

https://www.ironheart.co.uk/bottoms/ih-634s-142.htmlIf, it is specifically the 21oz you are wanting, then look a some other cuts:

etc etc etc
You will find more if you look around, but I don't know what you specific requirements are....

@Dick-Laurent one thing you may want to consider: are you looking at tag sizes or actual measurements? Take a minute and check out this video on how to measure a pair of denim that fits you and then compare those measurements to the sizing charts:
-
@eemmmiiee true waist is a poor metric to use when sizing. Measure a pair of jeans that fits you, using the IH measuring methods, then base your choice on that.
-
@eemmmiiee with the 21oz, very unlikely to get any noticeable lasting shrinkage. Easily stretches an inch in the waist. If you have a lot of pressure on the waist you could probably get an inch and half of stretch give or take. My 5 year old pair of 21oz waist is 1.5inches bigger than they were originally. I think anything over 1.5inches would be if you were actively/forcibly trying to stretch them.
But as many would say here, shrink and stretch isn't an exact science and everyone's adventure differs. I would plan sizing for about an inch of stretch in the waist. If you don't wear a belt, or have a belly like me exerting force on the waist, maybe plan for an inch and a half. And go off your best fitting jeans measured IH way rather than your true waist as @neph93 recommended

I guess my experience is a bit different. I own two pairs of 63421S and they measure just about the same in the waist as when I bought them. Mind you, I didn’t buy them with the expectation that they’d stretch out so they aren’t really under any kind of tension when I’m wearing them.
-
@Brandrea good point. All depends on if there is tension/force exerted on the waist
-
-
@eemmmiiee they will definitely tighten up in a wash, but they'll stretch back out to prewash in a day or so
-
@eemmmiiee you’re going to love them, me thinks.
I have 4 pair in the 634 cut. They’re my favourites

It is here! 3 days to Vancouver BC! Thank you @Graham
Measurements are spot on.
Abit snug on the waist but i know it will stretch out (my 888 stretched to to 35”)

I bought these 634S-21 at the beginning of 2024 while I was in Japan and just recently put them into rotation last month. I had them hemmed and thought I’d post a few pictures. Coming from 822 and 805, the front pockets took some getting used to, while also feeling “lite” in comparison. I like the hemmed look/feel so much that I took my 822 in to get hemmed. No more coming home with half the forest hiding in my cuffs.

Just arrived a couple of days ago. Love the cut...

@eemmmiiee Hi, hi... Thank you! Feels so comfy and soft at the same time, especially compared to my 21oz unsanfor raw denim. I’m 177 cm tall and weigh 176 lbs. Wearing size 32 for both this 634 and my 777 SLB.

@serkanm Hi. I was wondering if you could tell me your true waist? I am deciding my size on these pairs. My true waist is 31-32. I am thinking about 32, just worried about loosen with wearing.
I think i have minimum 90cm waist and i order 33 and 34 at the beginning. 34 was good fit, 33 was tight in the waist. I sold to 34 and keep 33. They’re so much relax now. They’re stretching a lot. Not just one or two inch. Most likely it’s about how much pressure you putting on it. I love my 33, and thinking order also 34 soon for more relax fit.. because i don’t like anymore slim looking but i also don’t like when jeans are too lose in groin and ass area
