Lewis in Red is a sight!!!!! Go Lewis!!!!
-
-
2 races in and the season's over...
-
How many races will take with Max being off the podium before he starts looking for another seat?
-
@Bridger other teams aren't looking too much better, Aston terrible and Merc not far off RB. My guess is he'll wait to see how the reg changes in '26 shake out before jumping... maybe Aston will have its act together by '27.
-
That's a good point @Rococo regarding the change in regs, it could shake things up.
I am tipping big things from Williams next season.
-
@Bridger that would be awesome, JV has certainly put them on a better trajectory.
-
I would expect Aston Martin to make moves next year as well with Newey working on the new regs.
-
@Bridger I have a hairbrained theory that max will look to the Newey Honda Aston Martin F1 team if he continues struggling all year. Lol
-
Also, wtf happened with the DQs in China?! Can’t believe Stroll is ahead of both Ferrari

If that was the case @WhiskeySandwich I hope it isn't Fernando's seat that Max takes
-
@Bridger idk I love Alonso but I think he might be done before too much longer

Very true @WhiskeySandwich, but I really would like Lance to take a longer stroll to somewhere away from F1. [While the funding remains...]

I'd be happy it it was a short one, if a plank was involved....

Yuki should have been first pick for RB, psyched he's getting his chance and I hope it works out. Pretty savage that they only gave Lawson 2 races, one being a shitshow in the rain.
-
Lawson got outperformed by other rookies though. I think this is a good move even if only to understand how shitty the car is by changing a variable against the control.
-
I’m stoked to finally see Yuki get his shot.
-
Agreed. I’d love Yuki to retain that seat a while, but for RBR to be replaced by McLaren and Ferrari at the top for a bit. And if I’m dreaming, Williams.

It’s been interesting to watch and read post race synopsis of the downfall/current predicament of Red Bull. The general consensus is that Max’s skills were able to compensate for a poorly designed car until he couldn’t manage the issues any longer. The second seat for multitudes of issues wasn’t able to control the car in the same way which dictated that they be tossed aside for more competent drivers. Sadly, they are only now realizing that it’s the car that’s the issue and that no one is going to succeed until changes are made to make the car more drivable.
Basically, the car has evolved to a point that even Max can’t control it and the second seat doesn’t have much of a chance until major design changes take place.
It will be an interesting season and I for one, hope to see Lewis win a few to instill confidence back into him. It may also be good for Max in learning a little humility and sportsmanship…but then again…

If the past is any guide, Frontrunner Max is much less of an asshole on and off the track. I really hope we don’t see a return to divebombing other drivers.
