IH-9527J - 21oz Denim Rider's Jacket - Superblack Non-Fade

Yeah I'm sorry lad… It's just that I have 2 of these rider jackets (indigo and duck), and on both the sleeves are a tad too long (more so on the indigo), but honestly I could not give one fuck less... These jackets are, simply put, ART... Mindblowing... I love 'm to bits and can't wait for it to get colder so I can wear 'm!..
All in all: useless advice
Nooo…it's good advice! My reply was a more smiling "well, obviously!"
P.s. that last bit of the comment. The cotton is that substantial that you need it to get colder?! Nice!

The sleeves are long because it's designed to be worn while riding a motorcycle. If you are like me and don't ride, you can cuff the sleeves to make them approximately 2cm shorter. With this cuff, the sleeves fit perfectly. There is a pic of me somewhere in this thread demonstrating this.

I get that. My worry was that they are long, according to the measurements, compared to other bike jackets with long sleeves - I've had Dainese and Belstaff jackets both with shorter sleeves, though other measurements being slightly larger. But, it depends where the measurements are taken from I guess.

the sleeve roll . . .
rough & fast fit
less lip & more flicks

yeah, but i'm short as the curb & as wide as the block Reds. i'm pretty sure you are taller & slimmer than me, so i doubt your cuffs will look like mine . . . but if it does, at least the cuff doesn't make the fit look sloppy (to me at least) :).
*almost forgot you are one of the many new iron Heart Daddies this year, congrats if i didn't already say so.

So today I was finally able to wear this jacket to work as it's been pretty stinking hot ever since I bought it. This thing rocks! I felt like I was wrestling an alligator all day because it's such a tough jacket, but in a good way, like when you're breaking in a pair of new thick jeans!
It's not very cold where I live (Southern California) so this jacket is perfect for me as it's not too thick. On the way home, I had the windows down on the freeway and had to laugh at the fact that I couldn't feel a lick of wind, like the jacket was like "LOL, wind, whatever." It's kinda funny to look at the ruffles on the sleeves and not see them move at all
And of course, once I got home, I had made it stand on its own I was especially impressed when I realized that I had left my phone in its pocket and it still stood no problem.
As I've been drinking tonight, I reserve the right to regret anything I wrote or the way it was written in the morning. That is all.

Ha, sorry, I did post pics a few pages back but this is the first time I got to wear it since then. I have some unwritten mental policy on not posting more pics than the number of times I've worn the clothes

Now that is yet another mental policy (in France we call this disorder, but hey…). I think we should definitely start a topic in the general topic section listing our mental "policies", we IH'ers might not be too numerous, but I have a suspicion we are long on mental "policies"...
