I pulled the trigger on this one this morning, the toughest decision was made for me when the actual work shirt was dropped with bias pockets, measured my IHSH 299 pur size large about 3 times and carefully compared to the westerns size chart which said in this cut XL was the order of the day. Thanks for your always impeccable

My final IH purchase till next fall, haha. Yet again, got em with the MOP snaps! Can't wait

Boom… this was my actually favourite UHF of the season, but I had to snag the purple work shirt.
I’m still hot for it, but managing to resist so

Its a gorgeous shirt. I got mine today. The yellow is not as bright as the pictures make it seem. Such a great shirt.

Got mine today too, definitely an amazing shirt.

Well gal dang it I made it almost a full week but finally broke down and ordered the one shirt I really wanted this season! Beaut!

Damn fine looking shirt. I picked up a western and a work shirt and am trying to decide which one to keep!! Brutal decision. My lady says I have enough western type shirts (Not a single UHF mind you). I like the bit of added heft the extra fabric on the western has. Feels a bit heavier. The western is a bit more "Flashy" though. Which I like, but I really dig how soft the pattern comes across on the work shirt. Damn! I don't know what to do hahah

I've got this pattern in the workshirt version and quite like it. Workshirt flannels are more my style and they feel more comfortable overall. Especially more comfortable in the midsection area, yes but also less padding on the shoulders of a workshirt, in comparison to a western, which makes it more comfortable to layer a jacket over. Also, the pattern of this flannel s complex enough that the workshirt showcases it well without overdoing it but these are just opinions.

Here’s a couple pics of both cuts. I think I’m leaning towards the work shirt. Love that western weight and buttons though too. Think I’ll go with the work shirt….wait, maybe the western. Yeah. Def the western. Yup definitely the….work shirt. So lucky to have these problems.
-
They both look dope on you but imo I like the western look on you better. Hope that helps.
-
I can see the issue - they both look great. I’d vote work shirt
-
@Mizmazzle Work shirt for me.The western looks a little too big, and that combined with the bells and whistles make it look fussy. The worksheet is relaxed simplicity and looks great on you.
-
@Mizmazzle Work shirt is the better fit of the two iMO

@neph93 @LewisStonehouse @AdamJ @Briangouliquer thanks so much for the input. The Mrs. likes the work shirt better too. Her victory in this decision may just make my next purchase that much more plausible. Now, how will she feel "IF" those new 888 ODs show up on the doorstep???
