The height of the rise dictates the number of buttons, so I suspect five.

Thanks neph, you are probably correct. My PIHANS 32" have almost identical top block specs to these in 33" so had my hopes up. For some reason those with 4 buttons are perfect fit for me. 888 is good as well but not perfect

i switched over to the 888 last month from 555 and i love it.  no more sizing up & having to wear a belt, excess fabric in the seat, etc.

What length was this inseam hemmed to? Any idea what the opening is?

@jat These were hemmed to 28.5" and the hem opening is 8.2" at at that distance down the inseam on this pair, hope that helps

These are so tempting. I just haven't worn this cut and I worry the rise may be too high (I like where 666 rides).
