IH-6634-BEI - 14oz Heavy Corduroy Straight Cut Pants - Beige
-
I was hoping we might see them in a slimmer cut if these did well. I think my chicken legs would be swimming in 634s, but might do it anyway given this news.
-
Understood Giles, seems it's a problem across the board at the moment. I guess if anything's going to suit a wide leg it's ultra-heavy cord. If they don't fit I can just have them on hand for fondling ???

@Dstauffer where did you get these pics? I didn’t realize H had a blog. I’d love to check that out.
So what you’re saying is this will be the only run of these cords?? Now I know not to be late when these babies drop. But i agree, the green color way has been on my mind too…. I used to have a pair of gray cords that i loved. These beige are looking super swell though and I’m going to be doing finger calisthenics to get ready for the big day!! -
Do those images indicate that the go-live date is imminent?

@Mizmazzle its from IH Japan website http://www.ironheart.jp/IH-WP/
H’s blog boss talk is there. They have these up for sale on their site (which means IHUK is close behind!) if you want to drool over them in preparation for their release here
-
Thanks for the link @Dstauffer
This news is critical info! Glad I’m around for this run. You still thinking of grabbing both color ways?? -
The corduroy feels a little different for me than denim, as there’s no stretch at all—but sizing the cuts of the previous run, probably is about the same advice.
I have pairs of denim 888 in both 36 and 38, but the 36 fit better. I have 634 in denim and cord in both 36 and 38, and tend to prefer the 38.

Well, I’ve also held off on any purchases this season anticipating this release
I’ve been obsessed for years with these and for me it’s a grail’s grail
That said, I also know corduroy can be a bit niche and not everyone’s cup of tea so also know there are likely members around who have no interest in this particular piece.
No idea about the sizing of these. The original run was on the small size so well have to see how they sew up…..a word to the wise, as you check out the IHJP site, take their measurements with a grain of salt as sometimes they don’t match with what’s posted in IHUK.
I’m excited though…..they are sooooo close!

I suppose I meant how the waist measurement of a high raise is read vs that of a mid like the 634. For example, if I measure my 888’s waist and get a comfy 32.5” measurement, but it’s up higher on my belly, would that same 32.5” measurement feel and fit lower like a mid rise? Considering I don’t have too much of a belly…or so I like to tell myself haha
-
That’s what I was getting at with telling you I prefer a larger size in the lower rise 634. It is more pronounced for me since I have woman hips/butt, but everyone gets larger as you move lower down away from their “natural” waist. Consequently, I need a bigger waist/higher size in lower rise pants. 888=36, 634=38.

Perfectly explained @sabergirl …as always, I appreciate your knowledge.
-
@sabergirl , Can you imagine these in the 463 cut? I know it will never happen but we can dream, right?
-
For the uninitiated- noting the comment above is there literally zero stretch in these?
-
Got it thanks Giles - size chart will be my friend
