Brilliant win at weekend from the Gooners! Watch out Liverpool next season!!! @neph93
Absolutely everyone will be out to get us next season. I like Arteta despite him being associated with blueshite (both light and dark blue). It’s also a well kept secret that I have a soft spot for the Gooners having lived in London with a mate who supported them. I used to go to Highbury and their CL games at Wembley now and again… don’t tell anyone.

Would've been nice to carry the torch for Premier League on a European stage. Also would've been nice to face Inter in the finals and play against the United rejects..
it's one of those where they had everything on a plate for them but then they just manage to go and fuck it up. dominating the game, countless clear opportunities to put the game to bed. and then they flipped of the switch off twice and got kicked right out..
-
@neph93 how's villa?
-
hahah i try to see it the other way round. spurs is a big team where as villa is mid table at best, so the defeat to spurs didn't stung as bad..
-
Good point, Spurs and Man Utd are both at that same mid-table/CL if they are lucky level [emoji6]
I’ll allow us a bad day on the job. Especially given the results against Chelsea and Arsenal. We won’t be where we were last season, but as long as we are still in the running at the half way stage I’m happy.
What are Utd’s goals? Just CL or do you see them being able to challenge?

i reckon they'll be able to challenge if they pull their head out their asses and start playing like a team. they've beat PSG before but the group stage will be tough. top 4 will be tough this year, everton's on a roll and so is villa to a certain extend. also, they've barely had any break since end of last season. they way i see them play so far feels like a pre season game, lethargic and not in sync.. i'm doubtful of cavani but it'll be curious to see where how he and telles do..
lol I was wondering when the gentle ribbing would start.
hahah the moment they lost 7-2 to villa, i knew i could and be safe

Despite scoring one of the greatest World Cup goals ever, no matter of footballing ability makes up for being a questionable individual. In my opinion, it's doing a disservice to class him in the same category as players such as Pele, Beckenbauer et al. And more recently Messi, Ronaldo.
Not in the legends category for me

he's resembles the peak of what a typical Sunday league footballer is and hopes to be. you know, your hungover Joe Smith that trains when he wants, rocks up hungover at kickoff scores a hatty and a MOTM. the only difference was that he did it on the biggest stage..
I can't say that I was fortunate enough to be old enough to watch him play and for him to affect my life much but you can't deny that he was a game changer the moment he steps on the pitch with his technical abilities on and off the ball.
-
I don’t care about what he did or didn’t do off the pitch. Still the GOAT for me.
-
I say good riddance. He was a terrible influence on youngsters and all his soccer mastery cannot make up for it.

I’m inclined to agree. Not that I wished him ill, but any status his footballing genius afforded him was greatly diminished by his huge and glaring flaws.

What a World Cup hot summer in U.K
Sunday World Cup final what a game.
Remember watching the game
Argentina vs EnglandHand of God
The second goal was amazing.
After this World Cup Maradona started going downhill.
I think personally 1990 World Cup hit him hard after losing the final.
It will hunt England fans for what he did.
Even though England went to war at falklands war..It will always be there that stain no matter how you look at it.
He was a good player, other called him cheats or a druggie.
Many look at him in different ways.
It is how it is..
