Contrary to some, I love the fascinating world of insects. I love to take photos of them and awe about their strange beauty. Post your insects, arachnid and arthropod photos here.

I recently moved from Maryland's second largest city to rural West Virginia. Spring has sprung and I have already seen some big spiders and moths. Check these babies out! They are both on opposite sides of our screen door.

My kids and I are huge bug fans and take pictures whenever and wherever we find a cool one. Here are a few randoms I found on my phone.

And a neighbor gave us some monarch butterfly chrysalides last year so we got to watch them hatch and release them into the wild

@SKT i walked face first into an orb weaver web last night! love em but Jeebus it wigged me out. Thanks be that it didnt end up on me. lol.

@mikebarhoot We’ve got a farm up in mid-Missouri with a couple old barns. Spiders galore. Those orb weaver webs are huge. Here’s one more I found. Definitely post some!
