Toughest Iron Heart denim to fade?
-
@Giles do you enjoy your 14oz G?
-
21L and the 17 slubs for me. couldn't really seem to get them going..
-
@louisbosco I want to add that your 21L’s look awesome though
-
absolutely
-
@SKT thank you. I, personally wasn't too happy with it. but coming off the UHR, it wasn't an unfair comparison..

These are the toughest jeans to fade but we’re made by the Works TW-634NSP. I’ve had these since 2016 worn them for about a year to work they just don’t fade but I still like them. Natural indigo hank dyed organic cotton.
-
Yeah a different shade of blue more old school.
-
Yeah these are hank dyed to and I had a look at one of the fibres and the natural indigo goes right the way through to the core.
-
In my experience? Whichever ones I don't wear, either by being the wrong size or the wrong cut for me.
-
@Mizmazzle said in Toughest Iron Heart denim to fade?:
Ah! Yeah that hank dying means done by hand, right?
No, it means that the hanks of denim are dunked in indigo (may be by hand, but not necessarily) and the fibres absorb the indigo, as opposed to the more normal method of indigo dyeing denim which is rope dyed, where the indigo oxidised to the surface and does not penetrate the core.

These are my 777N about two years in to almost daily wear in sunlight.

@Daniel-San sorry to high Jack this thread, but I’ve been trying to decide whether to buy the left hand twill ….
I thought o read here somewhere that they are stiffer than the right hand twill. Are you saying L hand twill are softer?
