IHJ-129-BRN - Japanese Horsehide Riders Jacket - Brown
-
Hell yeah @tody that looks ace!
I know someone who may ask to try your jacket on in September
Brown is not Black right? -
Does it usually run the same as UHF size?
-
@PJS You can definitely use your UHF size as a starting point, however, depending on how you want this to wear (over a t-shirt, layered, etc.) and how you want it to fit, you should depend a bit more on the actual chest and shoulder measurements (keeping in mind that this is a trim fitting jacket).
-
Mine arrived yesterday and think it may be too boxy on me sigh -gone for the weekend but fit pics to come Monday. Gonna need the collective to weigh in here.
-
@flannel-slut hope it works out – perhaps scope for layering, or just keep eating until it fits?
-
@ARNC haha all sound suggestions. Def posting some fit pics for some honest feedback. It was a quick try on before I left yesterday but gut instinct is telling me i’m between sizes/to size down
-
@flannel-slut Which size did you go for?
-
@tody I’ve always been in between M and L. Own a mix of M and L UHFs but have been going w large of late for comfort. Certainly be interested in your thoughts when I post some fit pics Monday
-
Sized large
-
@flannel-slut Seems that were sized very similarly. Looking forward to pics.
-
Fairly certain I’m going to size down to the Medium but looking for some sincere feedback -sleeves look long but am avoiding bending me arms/creating stacks pending a return, my hangup is a little boxy and the upper arms/bicep area too full
-
There is another part of me saying, you’re overthinking it and will work once broken in
-
The angle of the pics makes it really hard to tell, but judging from the amount of play in the back, I think you could probably size down. How do you like a leather to fit, though? And how free do you want your range of motion? Are you going to wear it with layers? The shoulders look about right.
-
@sabergirl Sooooo hard to decide on this one. Very good check points to work through. I think I was being too greedy and try and get something that could work both layered and w a tee. I think this fit mostly achieves this but having it on do find myself wishing it were more fitted
-
@goosehd thank you sir. I looked through the blk thread just now and and saw @pechelman first pics -a size up (which worked) and then seeing pics a few post down -sized down FTW. Feel like I’m in a very similar camp.
-
@flannel-slut I really think you will be happier with a size down. The shoulders are borderline too big as well as the chest. With the bi-swing pleated shoulders you will have all of the room you need for mobility if that is a concern.
