My thoughts:
Fit
This shirt is slightly smaller than several recent IH flannels by about a quarter of a size. It's just enough to
make it fit perfectly on me. I would estimate it to be half way between the 17 (smaller than most flannels) and 18 (standard IH flannel fit).Material
My collection of shirts (especially flannels) is large enough that I'm mostly interested in buying things that are unique in some way. Obviously, the metal in this shirt makes it special. A single metal thread is located at the center of the grey horizontal and vertical stripes, as indicated by the red lines. Even though the number of metal threads is not large, they are thick enough to be noticeable. The metal threads in the Engineered Garments material from last year are much thinner and more numerous.Although the color is called "black", I find it has a grey appearance. There is absolutely no fuzziness to this flannel. It's lighter than some of the other recent flannels but it still has a substantial weight and is nowhere near as light as the 14 and 24.
Details
The pockets easily hold an iPhone. The chain stitching is yellow instead of the usual red. I opted for the MoP snaps. -
Nice write-up as always DrPat.
Can anyone who owns this and also the IHSH-41 comment on the fit? Seems like it is comparable.

Got mine yesterday and the fit is spot on. It's definitely the lightest IH flannel I own, lighter than the 38 (haven't weighed it but by feel alone). The fit is very much like the 31/41, maybe a bit snugger.
The metallic thread is definitely very subtle, even more so than I thought it would be. Really glad that it's there because it does bring some "pop" to the fabric.
A winner in my book!

I got a size medium, which is my normal size. It's a bit smaller than the 41, but not by much.

I always look forward to hearing Dr Pats opinions and write ups, and he didn't disappoint again, thanks Pat, great read

Nice review DrPat. Are you wearing your RJB in that picture? The jeans look stunning.

Meant to thank Dr. Pat for his review! Been a while since we have had one and I must say I have missed them.
