How about a work shirt In that new 14oz Indigo x Indigo….
An immediate purchase for me - love the 14oz westerns
-
@kkibbey23 Well you sure woke this thread up!!!
-
How about a type iii Sherpa lined Corduroy jacket?
-
@Salted-Racer cool idea
-
Thanks @AdamJ ! I've been hoping for it since I saw those excellent corduroy pants released last fall.
-
@ARNC that’s a idea i would love to see worked out
-
@Salted-Racer I like your idea of a corduroy sherpa lined type 3 as well. The brown and beige color ways would be nice or maybe an olive or dark brown color would be cool too.

Re-run IHSH-87...
-
@Fades-for-future and IHSH-101
-
@Heavy_blue oh yes but i'd prefer the 87
-
@Fades-for-future epic for sure!
-
Think I've said this before, but..
805's in 14oz? Or 17 or 18, or anything lighter weight. The 21oz are amazing obvs, but would love a lighter weight denim pair for the summer months.

The 6526J-SP is my all-time grail! Black double-weave cord with black sherpa lining, and snap closure. Wish @Jestre would just give it up already. I’ll just keep poking every few years, in case. Especially now that double weave definitely can’t come back.
-
Totally agree @sabergirl that's a grail item no doubt!

I’d love to see jackets and shirts be offered in a short version. Med Short, L Short, XL short etc. Sleeve and body lengths shorter. For us height challenged people.
Now that said, this is from a “Large” wearer, and I’ve never been disappointed with expectations re: sizing. At this point it’s almost an automatic buy. But man, if I ruled the world…. What a difference an inch would make on the sleeve and placket. -
I've been wearing a reissued Wrangler, model 24mjz, made with selvedge one-wash denim, as-of-late. It was released during their 75th year anniversary in late 2022.
The mobility and comfort of the bi-swing gussets (with attached elastic) and front pleats alongside a front zipper makes this jacket an absolute winner and so comfortable to wear throughout the day. I can get in and out of my car without having to unbutton my jacket to accommodate my bulging midsection and I'm able to reach my arm towards the steering wheel without the movements pulling my shoulders forward or without my arm pulling itself out of the sleeve (which I dislike the feeling of when wearing jackets with shorter sleeve lengths). I even love that the cuffs are snap button which is far easier to operate than stud buttons as I can operate it one-handed.
Would be incredible to see this jacket designed by Iron Heart in the Work Jacket style (similar to IHJ-122-IND) being released this spring of 2023.
Having been on a denim spending spree in the last several years, I can honestly say that the 24MJZ is one of the best designed and comfortable jackets I've owned. It's so functional, practical, and stylish. It's hard for me to go back to jackets without the added mobility at this point.
Would love to own one made of Japanese, broken twill denim and with Iron Heart's capacity for quality-made items. Perhaps even better, a version made with overdyed or black denim, and contrast copper stitching. Tonal stitching would be cool too. Can't really go wrong.

The only category where I am not tempted in the IH shop is shorts. In particular non-denim, but heavy duty shorts, but somehow a bit more stylish. The 7.4oz Cotton Whipcord Camp Shorts are almost there, but not quite (look a bit too much like cargo pant cut-offs for my liking). I like the Rogue Territory Fatigue Shorts - Camel Canvas.. for example.
Below (last year in Joshua Tree), the kind of Fjallraven hiking shorts I want to replace with something IH
