How about a mask?
-
It's suddenly cold here in the desert, and I've pulled out my UHF's…
So, time for a couple of my wild suggestions.
A UHF cruiser jacket similar to the Filson Mackinaw Cruiser. Any colorway would do, or solid color as well.
Also, a charcoal grey and burgundy buffalo check shirt would be GORGEOUS.
And to end it with the attention off of myself, Maddy is living in her Cookie Monster, and asks (Why don't they make pyjama pants from this material?!", lol!
*She still wants to see a navy blue and red buffalo check, as well...

I had thought about this the other day, but realized it might be perceived as being in bad taste…

I think it's an excellent idea, made from left over denim from hemming.

Handmade masks very well may be a necessity since N95’s are scarce. I think non-medical personnel should be buying handmade anyway so that frontline workers can get the PPE’s they need. I see what you’re saying but I don’t think it’s in bad taste personally. I’m seeing more people wearing masks nowadays, even at the park [emoji40]

Pretty sure the IH crew teased a cruiser type jacket not that long ago. Looked like a Cookie Monster colorway if I remember correctly

Yeah, I’m sure that might be hard to breathe through. Some of the handmade masks I’ve seen are 2-3 layers but it’s lightweight cotton. A denim mask might look cool but it would have to be lightweight, have a cotton flannel inner layer and not cost a whole helluva lot.

Why would that be in bad taste? Certainly not taking away inventory of n95/99 masks from front line workers.
Where I live it’s being encouraged. I live in Beautiful British Columbia.

A jacket with indigo sleeves and OD black body
Not that I decide, but I’m not sure there is a market for that. A jacket run has to be at least 60 items to make it worthwhile and selling enough may be tough. Of course, you could go old school and buy a black type III vest to go over an indigo type III jacket.
you are probably right on that Neph.
I am thinking about putting that Vest-Jacket combo together soon. -

I am thinking about putting that Vest-Jacket combo together soon. There are some great options. Brown duck with black or overdyed denim is pretty tasty too.

Considering that I wouldn't be wearing it for a prolonged time, I think it would be great.

They showed a segment on Good Morning America on how to make a mask. When describing the fabric, they said the thicker the better.

Lots in this topic so I imagine this had been mentioned before, but I wish the long sleeve shirts/flannels had longer tails. I know that’s a hard one because everyone is different heights, but I like tucking in sometimes, and the sides always seem to pull out. You’ll never please everyone on a length of a shirt and you can’t make the same shirt with multiple lengths. I guess I could always try wearing my pants higher [emoji3].
