IHSH-62-ind - 12oz Wabash Western Shirt - Indigo

Keep it up with the evo pics! It gives me something to look forward to, as I sit here patiently waiting for a size large to pop up on restock or MP.

Nice fit @Griffwald
And I can only agree to what’s been said on how sturdy it is.
The black is my main work shirt, and it can really take a beating! -
For info, for those of you finding it interesting and useful.
Did a 60 degrees celsius wash using a front loader machine.
No soaks or washes have been done previously.Found it a tad too large and too long before, so therefor I did not make use/wear it (the shirt) as much as I would have like to.
Am pleased with the result now after washing. Sleeves good, so is front and back.
Perhaps chest a bit too snug, especially as I like wearing a heavy sweater underneath, but still works and am sure it will stretch back out again. So no worries.PRE WASH /POST WASH

Thanks for posting that @Adero . I’ve been contemplating buying a used one (all I can find, atm), that’s a size too big. So, this helped put shrinkage into perspective. US machines do not have a temp setting like yours; is 60 degrees Celsius hot?

Machines over here have settings as standard in general of and from 30 (cold/delicate), 40 (standard ev
eryday washing such as for cotton) 60 ( for cotton such as underwear and bed linen etc. ) and 90 ( bed linen). 90 being close to boiling point of 100 to give you an idea. Human normal body temperature is 37….
Most clothing companies advise for 30 or 40 degree washing cycles.
Don’t know what “hot” on an American machine would translate to I am afraid.
But hope the above helps a bit. -
Adero It does, thanks!

Hot on US machines is between 50-60C. From experience, IH wabash tolerates 90C if you want more shrink. That will be the highest setting on your machine. You’ll get a little more shrinkage that way.
One thing… I strongly encourage you to soak the shirt with the shower head before washing. It doesn’t have to sit in the water, it just needs to be wet before washing. And do air dry, not machine dry.

I appreciate neph93 ! I’m still on the fence about the one I found. I may just wait for the restock, whenever that maybe. I feel like a L or XL would fit me best, but the one I found is an XXL [emoji28]

I’d say wait for restock. To try to play the shrinking game in order to come down 1-2 sizes are to much to hope for I reckon. Sign up to be notified when the relevant size of shirt is back in stock again. In meanwhile sit back and wait. Think that is the best and safest way to go tbh.

wait for a restock @an_apple_soda for sure. The 62 runs a bit big in sizing to start with, especially in body length. Also, if you are like me in that you wash a shirt only when it starts to smell or look dirty (every 10+ wears), you will get some stretching and loosening of the material which will only hurt you ability to bring down the size to what you want.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the XXL, smh, lol. The measurements he provided (with pics) looked on the smaller end of the XXL chart. I got it for a killer price, tho, & just figured I could always bring it to the marketplace if it doesn’t work for me & buy on the restock.

@an_apple_soda If it ends up not working, simply move it on to a new home or you can wear it as an overshirt. Iron Heart westerns still look great oversized due to the tapered cut.
enjoy and don't worry about it.

First day on site with my newly acquired Wabash western. Felt kinda weird taking a picture of myself Y’all think the fit is okay? Feels a little bigger than what I’m used to. 6’2” & 190lbs, wearing an XL

Looks ace. A hot wash will take it in some, but personally, I don’t think you need it.
Thanks, I appreciate it, bud! The wife likes the fit too, so I recon that counts for something

yeah, shoulders are good, snaps aren't pulling-nailed it.
