IHSH-62-ind - 12oz Wabash Western Shirt - Indigo
-
At the moment still second to my Hickory, but can imagine that changing with some more wear.
@Perpetual_beta awesome fades! -
@weftyarn it's a great shirt. When faded it's eben more amazing
-
Starting to fade already after 20 wears, had to wash once
-
@FlavourFade Looks awesome! Mine is hanging in the sun right now after a first soak
-
I have the IHSH-293-OD in XXXL. Comparing sizing charts, it seems like I should buy the 12oz Wabash Western in XXL for a similar fit. Does that make sense? Is the IHSH-293-OD a tighter fit because of the overdying?
Thanks!
-
@goosehd Ah got it. Thank you
-
@denimdad I feel like the wabash is the roomiest between my other western shirts, btw I wear a XXXL in the 293od and a XXL in the 62. And its still roomier
-
@FlavourFade good to know! Do you ever wish you went down to XL given how roomy it is? Sounds like you and me are similarly sized.
-
@denimdad I have thought about it but think giving it a hot wash one day would be better. I would need a XL.5 maybe
-
This run of 62 really runs big. Went XL instead of XXL for the first time and still have plenty room to layer etc.
The 293 OD XL I just got fits over a tee but is way tighter than the 62, especially in the arms.
At the end of the day measurements are still your best consultant though!

Some early signs of wear
-
@weftyarn Nice! I put off buying it from this run: too many other purchases.
Keep the updates coming… Love a wabby fade.

I don’t measure my stuff
Heretic!
More seriously, it looks great now.
-
@Tago-Mago how did you find the wabash reacted to/shrunk with the 40degrees sir? Looking to do something similar - ideally would be reducing length without too much impact on chest. Or does it feel like a gentle reduction across the board?
-
@long_john86 I think you may see slightly more shrinkage in length rather than width, from what I noticed after washing my jacket, but @Tago-Mago will probably be able to give you a more precise answer.

@Mister_Brue thanks for the info!
