Where does everyone live?

Hello ALL,
I suppose it's time for me to properly introduce myself;
I'm Ryan, been a lurker here for a few years. Always reading, learning, researching the wealth of knowledge displayed on these boards. So, thank you to all who have lent inspiration to me. This is truly a surprising and unique community. I suppose the time has come to be a little more active and add to the dialogue. I have been wearing IH and similar brands for while now and can't ever see myself digressing from them. Never thought this old punker would care about what I put on my body daily, but alas…..
Oh yeah, the purpose of this thread....I Live in Breckenridge Colorado. (9600 feet, 3000ish meters)
As a very popular tourist destination, if any of you ever find yourselves in the area make sure to say hi!

Hey, Ryan!
Love your town! As far as being a good balance of outdoor activity and having fun shit to do in town, it is hard to beat IMO and surrounded by other cool stuff like 10 mile traverse, Mohawk Lakes, Dillon and the reservoir and the awesome venue there, Quandary, etc. Close to Copper and Keystone too!
Coloradans complain about the tourists, but there's a reason they flock there.

@mclaincausey It's easy to complain about the tourism and the frustrations it presents. From time to time I need to remind myself that the tourism and the money that comes with it is why I have been able to live here for the last 20 years. It's truly a gift that we take for granted. I was once a tourist here too! As you understand, we are all still tourists at some point in this great state.
Understanding the nuances of a tourist destination also has allowed me to be a better and more thoughtful traveler….

Oh damn, straight into the good stuff…
IH hoodies do not get enough props and that bush jacket is a thing of beauty. No jeans yet?

Hi Everyone!
After a few months of consuming the wealth of the content produced on this forum, I am feeling ready to introduce myself. But first, I thank you all for your effort in contributing to this community.
I live in Stockholm, Sweden, and I am in the moment in life when I am trying to be a more conscious consumer. Rugged, overengineered, noncompromising clothing is the name of the game for me.
I am a big music fan regardless of the genre – good notes in the right time. Scuba diving for wooden wrecks in the Baltic Sea, and for everything else … elsewhere. Also, never saying no when the opportunity for sailing arrives.

So nice to be welcomed by a man who created such prolific body of work on this forum
Winter finally came this week, with the temperature going down to –5 degrees. But You are enjoying the real winter in Bodø right? For a few years now I have had Lofoten on my shortlist for diving, but unforeseen turns of events were pushing it forward in my calendar. I cannot wait to land in Tromsø and then go south a bit. -

And yes the snow, storms and darkness are here. One day it is blizzards, the next crisp and cold. That will continue for some time.

Beautiful. I always wanted to visit Colorado, but never made it so far. We plan a trip to the US for next year, Colorado is for sure on the list.
Oh and welcome to the active part of the board -
@Dmart As it turns out, I will be in your beautiful area in February. We will be skiing Andermatt for a few days (along with a few other places). I haven't been to Switzerland in 20 years and couldn't be more excited!

Greetings from Barboursville which is located in Central Virginia, USA. We are about 35 minutes from Charlottesville and two hours from Washington DC.
After about a year of agonizing over the right sizing, I finally placed my orders and just received two IH items- 21 oz indigo 666s and a 21oz indigo vest. Very relieved that I got the sizing right! Looking forward to beginning the break-in and fade process shortly. These are my first IH items and I must say, they live up to their reputation for very high quality, and the IH customer service is second to none.
Anyway, good to join the forum and communicate with you all.
