Don't get pissed, I know there is a WTB forum, I posted there as well. I am in need of a black pair of boots for work that will probably get trashed in a few months and was hoping to save some $ finding something used, forgotten about, and needing attention. I am down for 9075, 8165, 9213… etc. Mods if this is not cool feel free to "boot it".

Well worn Wabasha boots. These suckers are my go to pair and although the toe is starting to fray a bit, the rest of the boot looks great.

I love these as well as the whole handsewn chukka line from Red Wing. What I can't fathom is that they only make them up to a US12. Definitely would have gotten a pair like this:

Wabash chukka. Although not being a fan of pre-distressed anything, I will personalise these with wear and create a more natural look. Fit like a glove (8.5 US), love the leather inside, comfy from the getgo, perfect hight, crazy good sole for this kind of weather; can't wait to start abusing them…

The Munsons arrived today (incredibly fast - RW Store Berlin rules!) … The boots are fantastic  - super smooth - super snug - the tweed inner lining is awesome ... and the look is so smart and casual - top notch! ..... fit pics coming soon.

with red wing it´s always difficult to find a "good" re-sell price imo…just because they´re all over the place!
without wanting to step on anybody´s toes, i´d say 200USD give or take!?

my wabasha.bought it used from ebay.then wore them out for almost 1 year.
the pic is before and after mink oil.need to resole them,thinking to get a wedge/crepe sole..

Quick question for the experienced Red Wing supporters.

I want to buy a pair of Red Wing shoes.
I have to order them although I am not sure what size I should get.
I have heard from many places they run a size large.

So I wear an 11 in Vans.
I wear a 12 in Nike running shoes
And 11.5 in dress shoes.

Anyone have an idea how this translates into a nice Red Wing fit?
