Don't Mourn, Organize! Leather Goods by Scott Willis

His products are extremely well priced and I haven't found anyone who's seemed unimpressed by the quality. The belts seem to be extremely heavy duty. Can't wait to get some.

Don’t Mourn, Organize! Is a small leather goods operation based in Springville, Utah. The name comes from a quotation by Joe Hill who proclaimed just before his death by firing squad by the state of Utah., “I die like a true blue rebel. Don’t waste any time in mourning. Organize…”
Joe Hill was a labor organizer, Wobbly, and miner. He was framed for a murder he had nothing to do with and was executed in the Utah State Penitentiary on November 19th, 1915. Many people believe Joe Hill was made an example by the state of Utah for insisting that workers have the right to join Unions and collectively bargain fair wages in exchange for their skills and hard work.We strive to create leather goods in the spirit of the labor movement. We feel our prices are fair, considering the time, effort, skill, and materials that go into each piece. We use only top quality hides from American Tanneries. We use the best solid brass and stainless steel hardware we can find. Our products are constructed by age old leather crafting processes and made one at a time. They are hand cut, hand dyed, hand punched, hand edged and burnished, and stitched on vintage machines or by hand.

Anyone have any pics of his stuff?

I posed this pic in another thread. I got a doubled up, natural veg-tanned horse hide belt from Scott recently.

Scott is an good guy to deal with. I have had a number of belts made by him. I think this is his hobby. His workmanship and prices are very tough to beat. Depending on the leather, his turnaround time is quick. If you like a heavy duty silver (316 marine grade) buckle, ask for it. This is the same buckle as Alex1976's belt:http://www.original-flightjackets.com/shop/Accessories/Belts-Braces/Scott-Willis-Heavy-Duty-Belt-tan::568.html
The last order I placed was a natural 16 oz. "Triple C Harness" (the third belt from top in picture 7 as a reference), 1.75 width and about 8mm thick. The buckle I mentioned above is the only buckle that can accomodate the width of the belt.

i wouldnt mind a horse hide belt in my life…

Just ordered a wallet from him. I'm excited to see how it turns out..
What leather/size? Been thinking about it as well. Maybe an Olive CXL long wallet.

Nice Clint.
Zwer, I think I'll get a natural bag one day. I mean, the price can't be beat.
