Well, just got back a week ago from being on the road since I posted up my challenge 3. I put on ~7500 miles and my van is currently sitting in the transmission shop as it died rolling into my parents house. I'm lucky I didn't stop to sleep the last night.
While I haven't posted much, mainly because posting from my phone sucks so bad, I have been enjoying all the pictures, keep it up. And now…

Challenge 4
I think we all love Christmas cookies, now my mother normally does this but she decided since she is working 50 hour weeks and I'm not working that I could make them this year. So...
Step 1: make the dough
Step 2: bake the cookies
Step 3: make cookies pretty
Step 4: eat and enjoy (with milk!)

IH 301s BK. 8 months. 2 washes.
Here's a long overdue update of my contest jeans. Based on the rate that these fade I won't be in the running for any prizes.

I am in much need of an update. Here's a shot I took of the patch for the time being.
And my "heavyweight" wallet.

Looks like I'm about due for some preventative maintenance. Hopefully with my limited wear schedule, these will last me until early spring. Nothing beats IH's impenetrable 23oz denim when it's freezing cold outside.

Denim Vs Food -failedWent to a local steak house "The Barn" and tried to take on the 1 kg steak 2.2 pounds of meat! yum
Got a little denim in…
The left overs, i had them the next day -
Valiant effort, Todd!
Car looks great, what's the benefit of projectors over standard lights? Isn't the conversion a bit of a pain and expensive?
Projectors offer a much wider beam and, since the light has a precise cutoff, allow the light to be brighter without being "that guy" that blinds every oncoming car. The projectors I retrofitted were salvaged from an Acura TSX so they weren't all that expensive. I did the work myself which negates the brunt of the cost.
It isn't THAT big of a deal, but I had the headlights open anyway and decided to go for it.

I promised to take some photos on my trip home, but ended up with just a few cellphone shots. Hope you enjoy them nevertheless.
The hems are a mess now. Ripping roping, loose threads everywhere (some restitched, some not) and worn through fabric. I'm thinking of getting another chainstitching done on top of the old one.
I'll be at the sea some days and wear these jeans, then wash them and then hopefully add the UES to the rotation. Have a nice new year's party, everyone!
