Whoah, strong work man, what are those?
-
MBB's. Hard to believe how dark they were 2 years ago.
-
Had to patch the hole from the outside as well…the hem needs a re-chainstitch badly as well.

Thought the combs looked cool so snapped a quick pic

Final update
MBB -
Hey everyone. I came over here from sufu to see what peoples' final jeans look like - nice work, everyone - so I figured I'd post a couple shots of mine as well (Samurai 710). I beat them in pretty well, with 100+ ski days, a lot of travel, including a trip to Tanzania, where I wore my jeans to the summit of Kilimanjaro, and a lot of other mountaineering in Utah. There's not much indigo left, so I'll include some photos from earlier on, when they had more contrast. I washed somewhere around 16 or 17 times, always on delicate cycle. My wonderful fiancee did all of my repairs (I believe she made 29 different repairs between months 12 and 20), but we just gave up with around 4 months to go. Oh, and regarding my fiancee, I proposed on top of a 3000-ish meter mountain at night here in Utah back in December while wearing my tattered jeans. Somehow she said yes. Haha.
Filthy jeans at a little shy of 19000 feet, the highest point on Kilimanjaro at which I could take off my snowpants from on top of my jeans without feeling like I was going to freeze to death. Taken on the way back down after summiting (peak behind me):
Hiking in Usa River, Tanzania:
Skiing about a month or two in:
First set of repairs (sorry, only seemed to have a small version of the finished product):
Salt flats a couple months in:
Bonus pic… the best photo I ever took in them. Fiancee + sunrise from a few meters shy of the peak of the world's tallest freestanding mountain:
