Imagine… this boot, in brown rough out, no cap toe, brass hardware, and a 705 outsole....plus a few extra hidden goodies...
That boot may or may not be being made at this very moment by some good people in Oregon in a size US10D...
I’ve already said too much. ...

@MET:
I am interested in these Vibergs. The seller does not know which last they are.
Does anybody know which last are these VibergxHeritage Research Boots?
I've received the pair today. They should be made on the last 110. Otherwise I could not be able to place my feet in them. Compared with Tricker's, Loake, Alfred Sargent, Grenson, Cheaney sizing the last 110 should be considered F width. My English made G width shoes are larger than this Viberg. It was worth gambling. But I would prefer a wider pair.

@MET does that mean you’ll use them? I’m sure you know but if they’re only lightly used they will stretch out some in width with wear. Lovely looking boots, even with the wedge sole, which I’m not normally a big fan of.
Thanks. I will use them. It is almost impossible to wear them with thick socks. I know they will strech out. This spring and summer I will thin out the wedge soles. Commando itshide soles would go well under these.

Thanks @browniemcghee - the depth of the Navy Leather is remarkable. Sometimes it looks black, sometimes it shows some browns, and only under the most intense light does it show off the blues
They are probably due for a cleaning, but I’ll be taking them to the mountains in Arkansas next weekend for a fly fishing trip, so will probably wait until that is complete to do so.

That's actually why I was asking. I really dug em. After confirming I could return if they don't fit I said screw it a went for it.
I'll post pics when they get here on Monday…

Love the derby shoes @madmonday - heavily considering getting a pair, but have no clue what leather to go with

@madmonday love those pull on boots Monday! What model/make are they? I admire them in every pic you post…

If anyone is going to the sample sale, please let me know - I am keen on some Derby’s and Maybe an Engineer [emoji48]
Also, if anyone has been in the past, are the prices decent? Or is it like $50 bucks off for half a shoe torn up by a rat…
Too soon [emoji23]

these are usually very good @Appfaff
1st quality overstock & samples prices all below $600 and they used to lower prices each day so the last day was a huge fire sale.
pm me as I might be able to proxy for you on the 3rd and the 6th (can work out details through pm/email) I'm pretty sure I got a wedding to go to that weekend so have to work it out around that
I'll be on the look out for a pair of discount ropers, discount slippers (praying for mini ripple sole pair) and any boot/shoe/slipper with a mini ripple sole or and waxed rough out

Thanks, man! Couldn't be happier with them. Super refined but feel they dress down better than either my Kudu or my brown cxl

These came in earlier this week. Was able to get 1 wear in them before we got a butt load of snow. They are super comfy and are going to be my go to summer shoes…
