We know you love IH, but where do you think we can improve?

What's a lot? It would be a massive undertaking to repattern our existing regular shirts, I think we would need hard evidence to even consider......
I love the high and tight armpits and I'm sure many other skinny people do as well. If I wanted my shirt to fit like I was wearing a tent I could just go to the local shopping mall.
-
I'm with @DrPat They are by far the best shirts I've ever owned!!!
-
Yeah same here and like Giles said you can’t always make the shirt for ‘every’body’ lol!
-
I think in most cases it’s just not the right size
-
I know that there are reasons why the older shirts don’t have their item# on the label (ie: IHSH-64) but how about adding them from now on?
(I apologize if this has already been addressed in this thread; I didn’t see mention of it.)
-
@elicious When I purchase & receive my IH items, I write the item numbers with indelible fine point marker on the inside sizing/wash instruction tags.
-
@John-Galt thanks for the suggestion

Probably this has been suggested before, but including spare buttons (sewn to the inside of the shirt) for all work shirts would be great.
IH shirts are built to last forever, but still, sewn buttons coming loose is inevitable, as I just learned after (only) ~10 wear days in my 307. Almost lost that sucker of a button on the FlixBus today

I have noticed that the sewing on the buttons could be a bit more sturdy. Seems like a few more passes would hep.
This. And apart from that I also noticed that the threads for the buttons seem to fray way quicker than e.g the polycotton stitching used throughout the rest of the shirt.
The button threads almost feel like they’re 100% cotton?

When I check out sizing of new stuff I always use the 'add to compare' site and go with two finger along the relevant columns. That would be much nicer if it was possible to click and highlight columns (and lines) in the sizing tables.
Don't know if that's possible but would be a nice feature …

I would like all IH coats / jackets to come with a hanging loop inside the neck of the jacket.
I get a lot of use out of my IH-526-ODG but the lack of hanging loop and the thick stiff patch make this coat very difficult to hang on a peg.
-
I do love Iron Heart your right but in my opinion I think your behind the competition with the Horsehide jackets. Not on about the quality of the one's you already have as they are great but more the range. I think you need a couple more classic styles like the other Japanese big hitter brands with different hides/colours.

Many jackets are made without a loop on purpose. If the jacket is too heavy, a loop will place too much stress on the fabric to which the loop is attached.

This has been existent and quite annoying for a while now, but I'm just getting to report it now:
When I enter a keyword into the search box on the main website (e.g., the word "collarless") and the suggested products appear, automatically the first product of the suggested search results is selected. In other words: When I hit enter to search for a word that I entered initially, the website takes me to the product page of the first product that was suggested and selected. Instead, it should take me to the page where all the search results for that word I entered will be shown.
Here's a screenshot which I hope will clarify what I tried to describe above:
