RAWscore - the hit or miss fit and combo space

I love the chore coat but agree with Reuben that the outfit looks more put together with the black type III. Solid fit
-
Thanks @Joberwocky - the Mrs agrees

@LewisStonehouse if it’s not too late, another vote for pic 2 (but with eyebrows from pic 1 ;)). There’s no way I could get away with this but I think you can and the Type 3 definitely looks more tailored. Although many of the style cues are very different, the high/suppressed waist made me think of a mess jacket.

I vote black type 3.

Thanks guys, the type 3 won out in the end. @ARNC I agree on the mess jacket vibe. Got a few squiffy looks from the see of people in standard tuxes, but sod em

@LewisStonehouse Looks great in context and people will remember you - not a bad thing for this type of event!
-
Outstanding sharp look there @LewisStonehouse ! Well chosen. Standout within a homogeneous sea of black suits.

Cheers @motojobobo

They’re just upset about being outdone. Really a good look. Well done!

Looking for some advice. Too much indigo? Nah dawg, ya' good?!
I'd would like to be able to wear the vest and the jacket together. But I'm thinking it's too much indigo. Maybe only occasionally but with a black hat and black shoes and tee?
Please don't bullshit me and give it to me straight. @neph93 @Alex @sabergirl @Giles @Oaktavia
Other not tagged, feel free to chime in too!!

@Filthy hope you're doing good Mike. For me, no rules, do what works for you. I personally liked you WAYWT pics in your all indigo. Shows personality and character.
The net is full of articles about what guys our age should or shouldn't wear, mainly authored by gents who can't decide whether they are preppy or in the boardroom.
Life's too short not to do what makes you feel good.

looks good to me man! my rule for stacking indigo is as long as they are different shades (or different stages of fades) than it doesn't bother me.
also, you do you and who cares what anyone thinks!
