Hats and Beanies

I have the sportsman cap - it's super long and pretty thick so if you roll it it gets pretty thick on the sides - but for 40 bucks it is a bargain. The wool is a bit itchy though.

The H.W. Dog and Co. are a Japanese hat brand, and they do some interesting products. Most are typical workwear staples, but there are a few more quirky pieces in the collection.
I'm liking the Boonie Hat. (The Bush Hat might be easier to wear, though.)
And the Goofy Cap.

Ordered a Poten cap from Self Edge (Thanks @kiya !). Love the simplicity of the cap and the leather lining. I will post pictures and a review after it is received/worn. Thanks.

I've had my eye on these since they dropped. Definitely interested in hearing your thoughts.

Thanks.

You will love that cap. I'm sure it'll be one of the simplest but most impressive things you'll buy all year. I love how they pushed something like the humble baseball cap into new territory by paying such close attention to every detail of it. )

THIS CAP IS AMAZING!

Wow, that makes me wish I wore hats more. Beautiful construction, looks like it would feel more like a nice fedora than a cap to wear.

Thumbs way up on the Poten caps. I own all three models SE stocks.

The green cord model looks interesting. Has it broken in at all? Can you post some pictures?

Feels good very quickly after I bent the bill into a slight curve like I usually do veloaudio.
No close up pics yet however it did manage to make it into one of my recent photos:

Not many of you guys seem to be into flat /ivy / newsboy / driver caps. Scalawags and Brixton are my two favourite brands so far.

For those of you who've gotten the Poten caps from SE, what size did you get? I love that red one but I have an annoyingly huge Irish head. I figure the L might be alright but I'm not sure.

Hey PV/ATX. I am a 7 3/8(S) in Poten and also a 7 3/8 in Ebbets Field Flannel caps.
My actual head measurement says I should be a 7 1/4 but this size is too tight in both Poten and Ebbets. I like a looser fit and can't tolerate a tight fitting cap.
Hope it helps.

I'm a fan. I have quite a few including at least one Brixton. Stetson make some good ones and Bugatti are a favourite as well. The latter appear to be an old man's brand who don't seem to have cottoned on to the fact that younger folks have adopted this kind of headwear. Really well made, great materials but a conservative style…
Me in my Brixton...
