Last time I was in Seattle I came across Lighthouse coffee, which I loved, but I’m a dark roast fan. On the east coast I like www.oldcitycoffee.com if you order 5lbs of coffee, you get a free 6th pound and shipping is free. They have a really great selection and have detailed pictures of their beans so you can judge specific roast levels.
I'm looking out my window right now at Old City Coffee. Small world!

You live in Philadelphia or just visiting? I first encountered Old City during an IH meet up in Philly. Found them at the Reading Terminal Market.
I live in Philly. I work in the Old City neighborhood. I'm not sure if this location was first or if the reading terminal was open beforehand. They have a socially distanced line now every morning so its tough for me to get my fix!

I had that same French Press.
One time, I forgot to clean it out before going on vacation and came back to the funkiest pink mold growing inside of it. No light makes it an amazing holiday spot for the fungus

Looks really good Reuben.

Decided to spoil myself a couple weeks ago and ordered three bags of Madcap — Luis Reinoso (Colombia), Three One Three (Ethiopia blend), and Party (I think used to be called Ardi - Ethiopian natural process).
Drank the Reinoso already, was my least favorite of the bunch. Finished up the bag of Three One Three this morning, really tasty. Party next. Been brewing them all in the Chemex, did a little testing with V60 but definitely prefer the cleaner cup of the former.
I feel like I can't afford to let this habit continue, but I kinda wanna!

@Jett129 they're all medium roast! That seems to be the zone that Madcap stays in most of the time, if not always. Some of their coffees are really crazy — I think the Ardi (like I said, now called Party for some reason) was the first really nice, fruity medium roast I'd ever had, and it blew my mind. A real fruit bomb, as they say. Kinda changed my perspective on coffee forever, as previously I'd been more of a fan of dark roast. Now it just upsets my stomach, haha.
