IH-666S - The Devil's Fit Indigo - Slim Tapered
-
The IH-666S is now officially ENDANGERED :o (which means it will gradually be phased out as it is replaced by the IH-666S-18).
However, we will probably do another production run of missing sizes, so for now the "request an email when restocked" is still enabled.

Whoa. I never thought I'd see these go away.

End of an era! Fortunately the vintage 18oz is seriously good stuff.

I agree, I have a pair myself.
We had to decide whether to continue with 2 18oz denims or cut one out. I decided that sticking with one was a more sensible approach….
Makes sense. Does this mean that this denim is going away completely then? Not just in this cut?
-
Damn, now this makes two discontinued denims I'll need to pick up that I don't have (18 and 21/23)
-
Seriously…who even let me in here anyways???
-
The UHR (21/23 oz) and the raw endangered 18 oz are amongst the most beautiful denims I've encountered. Jus' sayin'…
If you had to pick one between the two?
-
A difficult decision, probably the UHR but I slightly prefer heavier denim. Go for the one with the least numbers in stock… then for the other one 8).
Smart man. Looks like I have time to sort this one out. There are still large quantities of the 555 18oz and 888 21/23oz left in my size. More of the 555 though so I'll cop the 888 21/23 first.

I always intended to pick up a pair of these and always assumed I had plenty of time considering this is Giles's favorite denim and cut. Totally out of the question to buy a pair in the near future, so I might have to make my peace with these being one of the ones that got away.
On a brighter note, I'm ecstatic that the weather has cooled off enough to take my 666-XHS out of hibernation (along with my SEXIHXLSXA13's).

I haven't had a chance to see this fabric in person, is it noticeably slubbier than the new UHR or 18oz vintage? Not expecting PBJ-level slub, I just don't want to have two 18oz pairs that are too similar.
