Nothing too fancy, but happy to see one of my tried and true favorites offered in cans at my local shop
I don't drink that one anymore, but it was a formative craft beer for me. After a beer drinking career (that started entirely too early ) of things like "Milwaukee's 'Best'," it was a real eye-opener as to what beer can be.
This tap house / record store / lounge in my hometown used to have "Grateful Dead Guy" nights where Dead Guy pitchers were cheap and they would spin Dead tunes. This was the first place to introduce craft beer into my town. Must've been the late nineties.
Great memories… and blank spaces where they should be.
From there I got into hop bombs for many years, then sours, and finally back into craft lagers and pilsners. Still enjoy all of them (and the occasional stout), but the main ones I can't get into are malty varieties such as Scotch ales and the like.

Plenty of wallop, but not sure the flavours are much bigger than the regular chocolate cake, and yes Seul…
I preferred the ginger cake, more neuanced flavours. -

Love it! For what it’s worth, I’m still surprised when I see craft beer sold in Mississippi lol

I’m not getting any bacon in this one. Only maple(too much) and coffee.

That still looks great

Cold and snowy. This has mellowed a lot.

That sounds good…
It’s ok. The peanut butter flavor definitely stands out, but for a stout it’s pretty weak. I think it’s 5.4% abv

You know how hard it is to find a decent 5.4% stout?.. Upwards from 6.5%: no real problem… Anything under 6?.. Frightfully rare...
They seem to be way more abundant in Trump's Reich... Which is a shame as I'm always struggling to find a good afternoon, low abv beer here in €urope...
You are correct. Low abv stouts are common here, but I actually prefer stouts that are 10% abv or higher.
