i've actually had a look too! cheap hotels and cheap airfares. how good is it! the only worry i'd have is that tourist attractions and places you wanna go to might not be open..
Yep, that's one of the concerns. We'd hate to go and then find everything locked up like Wally world.

Annual staff outing was going to be tonight. Staff and other halves…..
We were all off to see Michael Kiwanuka at the O2 Academy Brixton.
The show has been friggin' postponed....
"Following medical advice, Michael Kiwanuka has today been diagnosed with acute viral Laryngitis, forcing the unfortunate postponement of the remaining dates on his MARCH UK tour, including this evening’s show at O2 Academy Brixton."
alternative: go down to your local pub for an open mic night.

Extremely odd. Was that in some kind of contract? It doesn't seem fair when you can only enroll once a year for a health plan to move the goal posts.
-
Odd but I bet when he does get sick it is 100% covered for zero out of pocket. As opposed to here where premiums and copays are bankrupting people.
-
That's really odd that your insurance can tell you that if you travel abroad they won't cover your medical costs.
Is it the same if you drink and get liver disease they won't cover you?
If you don't run will they not cover you if you get heart disease???It‘s a private health insurance… they can exclude some benefits. It‘s not about any medical costs, they just said, they won‘t cover the costs if I would be put in quarantine. An other problem is, I am self-employed two weeks quarantine would have a huge impact with a full diary. But however, ANA has canceled my flight anyway.

Excluding benefits is one thing… Changing the benefits that are excluded between contracts is another. Worrisome to think about.

@Chap those scuffs are the bane of my existence. I had a brand new Evo and my wife bashed the passenger tires into a drive through curb 3 weeks after buying it. Almost caused me to cry. Proud to say I’ve had my GTI 2 years and no wheel scuffs yet [emoji1696].
What do you drive?

Paula decided to bounce off the kerb in the BMW140i practically the first time she drove it and just before I had taken out alloy wheel insurance. On the 140i Shadow Edition, the alloys are black, so the damage is super noticeable….Her defence, "Your fault for buying a flash car"....

….Her defence, "Your fault for buying a flash car"....
Can't argue with that, she's a smart lady. The amount of dings my cars get from city conditions I gave up on a nice ride, they all get messed..This one's had 3 scratches done when the car's parked in 1 year.. Only park in 'good' spots, not on corners or places where I can expect damage..still happens…

talking to apple genius bar about a problem can be excruciatingly painful when you somewhat know more than them. drains the bloody life out of you. turns out, they don't have much common sense..

Today our washing machine broke.
It's not like we don't have enough trouble with the whole stay at home and isolate thing, no, every fekking store where I would have been able to pick up a new one is closed now.
I understand the necessity of all the safety measures and fully support them. But, fuck, did that damn piece of junk really need to break just now?
Fuck!

Damn @Cole. Sorry to hear that. I’m sympathetic to your situation. I’m balancing on a Jenga tower of potential disasters myself, waiting to see which one fails first. At least us denim nerds are skilled at handwashing already!
