Good news. Verified shipment arrived. Today (next day) vs estimated Saturday.
Much grateful so relieved.

Follow up on my rant a few days ago.

Average rainfall for September in San Antonio: 3.00"
Total rainfall in September 2018: 16.82" (The wettest month in recorded history for the city)
Average rainfall for October: 3.86"
We've already passed that already, and today is only the 13th.It's cool. It not like we're trying to get construction finished…

Les was either bitten or got scratched and spent a couple of days on a drip in hospital.
Yikes, that's terrible. I hope he's recovered sufficiently, and not just rushing to get out of the hospital.
What kind of a plague worksite are you running, anyway?

So I feel I’m missing something. I’m traveling to Dallas next week and was planning to wear Ironheart. Is there a reason not to?
I would appreciate if someone can elaborate on their experience.
There have been a number of anecdotes published here through the last few years where people have been stopped in the US by TSA while wearing Iron Heart's UHR denim. Apparently the thickness and density of the denim sets off something or another. No one has ever been refused the right to board or anything like that but they've been stopped and checked. Avoid UHR and you'll be fine.
Late reply, but for the record, I read wearing an IHT-1600.
I guess the fabric at the seams is just so it looks unusual on the scanners, which raises suspicion

My high school was on the banks of a river that might run blue, red,or green, depending on what dyes the mills upstream were running that day. In warm months the stench meant closed windows. Ah, memory…
The mills are long gone and fish and all manner of wildlife have returned. No jobs though. -
Know how you feel. I just lost a week because Les (my man who does just about everything) was either bitten or got scratched and spent a couple of days on a drip in hospital….Should be back Monday....
I got a MRSA infection 2 years ago that ended up exactly like that. Tiniest little scratch from wearing tight black shoes for a funeral led to three weeks of anxiety and 2 days under a drip… Not the most painful experience of my life but one of the most depressing because I had 0 control on the evolution of things.

I watched this too, but I try and keep up to speed on all things sustainable. It's what drew me to Iron Heart originally…I'd hoped that IH is conscientious about it's sourcing and production.
We are trying as hard as we can to be plastic free in our household. We get a veg box scheme to cut back on unnecessary packaging, and their delivery is carbon neutral. Where plastics were once used we are buying bamboo alternatives.
It's all too easy to be pious, and that drives me nuts, but it's good to try and improve what you are able too.

Thanks! I just wish it would've been a more gradual transition to colder temps.
While I totally understand (we can get 10C swings in the course of 12hrs and 15C in the course of 24hrs round my way), I would imagine it’s a take what you get scenario when it comes to deck jacket days in Texas?

And with less rain…
