The hard part is, the vest is sick AF! It just makes me leery to get another as I am unsure of what issues I would encounter with that….I am really leaning toward just a refund at this point.
I'd love to see IH do some sort of variation on this style best. I'm sure that would be a winner on all fronts.

@QuantumMechanic I had the same experience when I had some initial questions about the vest. So I ended up "live chatting" with Superdenim.com who sells RMC inventory and was responded to immediately.

Not at all. Sharing stuff like this helps other people decide whether or not to buy from retailers/brands. These things will happen from time to time, but it's pretty important for the company to deal with it in the right way, which is mainly a swift, compassionate response.

How is the sizing of the Steinbeck jacket? Which size do you own and what are the length of the back and sleeves measured the ironheart way?

That's the way I was looking at it too. I figure my experience here can be useful to all who read this thread. Given this initial response, I'm feeling very confident in how RMC will proceed in resolving. I'll update when I can.
For anyone who was following this, sorry for the delay in updating….life got hectic. RMC took care of the issue completely, paid for shipping to Japan (from the US) and back to me for the repair and recheck of the item. It was back to me in about 1 week and they were very professional and courteous about the whole thing. We very pleased with the customer service I received and as of right now, the issue seems to be completely resolved.
