The Flat Head

Jeans have been soaked and are drying…I'll see how much they shrink first but will probably end up taking your suggestion and doing the hot wash.

Fit Looks solid and with 2" shrinkage in the waist / 3" in length you should have 99% of the shrinkage out.

Here are some fit pics post hem. I'm very pleased. I've always wanted a pair of flathead jeans but could never find anything that fit me properly and am very excited to start wearing these. I'm not used to wearing jeans so "light" either. My only qualm is that my recently purchased 666s will probably be taking a back seat to these until it starts getting colder.

Those look like a really good fit!

Copped a pair of 3009s at SEPDX this weekend; I wasn't able to stay in town long enough to take them home before hemming so they're on the way to Chicago. Super excited to see how much they shrink and plan to post before/after pics as well!

Anyone saw the MK Line? It´s pretty over the top

If you have ever coveted Real Japan Blues incredible mid-weight 14 oz left hand twill denim made with Zimbabwe cotton that fades like nothing else, and like a slim tapered mid-rise fit with subtle details such as indigo arcuates on the back pockets, then look out for our collaboration jean which we launch next week.
Real Japan Blues is the sister company of T****he Flat Head. It is a brand that obsesses over every detail of style and quality in equal measure.

@C64 My pre-soak meausurements are on point with the ones provided by Rivet & Hide and Self Edge (I can't find where I noted mine but they're exactly the same):

Mine are a tag 38 and I remember a 2 inches shrinkage in length (there should be more in the future) and ~1 inch in waist after the first hot soak, whereas the waist stretched back quickly and even beyond with wear. If you're looking for some TFH jeans with a higher rise / a roomier top block and a smaller leg opening the 3012 is a very good choice.

Does anyone have any experience with TFH's 3009? I didn't like the 3012 fit in the end and think the 3009 might work better. How does it compare to IH's fits (more 666 or 634)?
I have a pair of 34W 36L one wash TFH 3009 fit jeans that I can confirm are more 634 than 666

Anybody happen to have a Flat Head flannel or any other shirt from them in size 48 and can provide measurements IH-style?
