IH-777-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Super Slim Tapered Jeans - Indigo
-
Yeah there’s no way I wear mine in the summer.
It is a magnificent fabric though. Love how it molds to your body.
-
@Zee-Boo have fun on your XHS ride
-
@Heavy_blue yeah I definitely will I think 25oz is the way. Yesterday in the morning they were standing in the corner of my room, totally stiff and rigid and in the evening after the whole day of wearing them they got quite convenient and much more softer. What a fabric!

Hello new here
I'm considering getting a pair of these but not sure on the size.
I currently have a pair of thee 666 XHS size 34. the fit is perfect as far as look.
little tight in the hips. but I have plenty of room in the waist.Would anyone be about to help with what size to get in the 777 XHS?
I was thinking a size 34 in the 777 XHS because i still have room in the wiast of the 666.

@shendrix719 Please send an email to the IHUK crew: shop@ironheart.co.uk
They are really good at what they do and will be able to guide you in the right direction.

One of my favorite things about my XHS pair is that it looks like I’m still in it as it’s hanging in my closet.
The leg openings are like nah I’m not flattening out, thanks though
-
@drewfonse yeah man I don’t even want to fold them. I like how they’re like a denim mold of my legs.
-
I sealed final grades for my University students today and wore the 777-XHS to celebrate with body armour.

Fit check
Soaked in hot water for 45 minutes. Waist was a bit big and it did shrink, but it has stretched back out a bit, but a lot better than pre soak.
-
@MassiveThighs That fit would not work for me and I would size down, but as I and many others on the forum have stated numerous times, fit is subjective and you are the one who has to be comfortable in them.
What do you think? Good fit for you, too tight, or too loose?
-
The thigh area is restrictive but I can live. Waist is still a little bigger than I want but I can always use a belt.
I could use more rise, but it isn’t at the point where I don’t want to wear it.

Today I got my first pair of Iron Heart jeans, the IH-777 25 oz in 34/36What a beast, it took some time until I could put on the jeans but after 10 minutes it became better. My first goal is to run 100m under 60 sec. Let‘ssee how long it will take. But I love this jeans, so beautiful! Thanks to the IH store in Hamburg for their fast delivery!
Photo 3: I am still a bit impressed about the stiffness, but it became better -
@Marc2706 going big with 25oz as your first pair
If you’re happy with the fit , Don’t forget to get that initial Hot soak out the way remove any remaining shrinkage your good to go then .Not sure if know already but Expect anything between half inch to 1 inch shrink in the wait and 1 inch in the inseam depending on how hot and how much agitation you give them .. -
hey guys! first post, but i’ve been using these forums for the last couple weeks to learn what i can before i make my first XHS purchase. based on measurements and everything i’ve gathered from reading your posts, i think i’ve narrowed my sizing down to a tag 33 in the 777 xhs. my local dealer, mildblend here in chicago, is out of my size in most fits and it seems the ironheart site is as well. it looks like a shop called rivet and hide has my size available, but i noticed their measurements look quite different than the ones posted on the ironheart page for the same cut and tag sizes. has anyone had any experience with them? i’m not sure really whose measurements i should go off to be honest. they show almost an inch difference for the same tag size, and it doesn’t seem like they measure in a radically different way than IH does. any insight would be greatly appreciated! 🫡

Hey @indigo_nico Where Rivet and Hide measure the waist differently, the rise can skew the measurement, the way we measure gives an accurate circumference. My best advise would be to measure the same way as your chosen retailer so you are comparing apples to apples when looking at the size charts.

@Graham thanks dude. usually i’m pretty lucky having mildblend in town, allowing me to try on multiple sizes, but not in this case. thanks also for the quick email reply the other day. i appreciate the help
