@Appfaff Adam, so glad one of these made its way to you. I can assure you from experience, it was worth the wait. This thing is in a league of its own. The details are perfection and too many to list!
From the pic above, the fit looks killer! Please post some more when you get a chance so we can all ogle over your new favorite rugged gear

Thanks @Dstauffer - I just can’t get enough of it so far

@Giles - what type of hangers do you guys use for these? Even my wooden “jacket” hangers are flexing more than I care to test.

how heavy is the jacket? are you worried that the hanger is too short and will leave dimples in the shoulders?
-
@Appfaff that fit is spot on and if you think you love that jacket now…you just wait because it only gets better!
When I got this jacket and some other heavy weight outwear, I realized I had to step up my hanger game.
These are what I got off Amazon to start with and they have been perfect. I really like the wide shoulders which help to minimize some of the shoulder creasing when these are hanging for a longer period of time. There may be some better options in terms of brands, but these have done the job fantastically for me.
They were like $40 for 6 I think, but for me it was well worth the cost.

@Dstauffer I like the look of those hangers. I use plain wooden hangers like the one @Appfaff has pictured. I think I bought mine from Ikea or something. They're good for shirts but for heavier items like jackets I do on occasion experience the shoulder dimpling because they're not wide enough.

Thanks Dan, i got an amazing GC for xmas, so I’ll snag some - they will be great for my TypeIIIs too.
This thing is so heavy, I’m afraid it will snap my hangers. I use the skin hangers for my jeans and about once a month I come home to a pair of 23oz lying in the floor in agony and the broken hanger nearby [emoji23]

Not to derail this thread, but to show these things in action, due to storage issues ie lack there of (we are in a rental while we look for a new home), I sometimes will double hang my outerwear.
This is how these have been hanging for a few weeks (IHJ 35 and a heavy weight Real McCoy vest) …hanger shows no signs of stress or wear as you can see from the previous pics

I'm surprised no one mentioned the more luxurious option yet.

I use them for all my outerwear, including my favorite winter jacket (thanks again for the deck jacket Adam, which I have been wearing pretty much everyday for the past month).
My UHFs are also serial hanger killers. For heavier gear that’s not outerwear (ie UHFs, heavy weight denim, shackets, etc), I love these:

Not wood, but I have had no broken hangers this year…
