What's your single most all-time favorite Iron Heart piece ever?
-
Good question. I'm relatively new, but the IHSH-170 really does check all the boxes. Just an amazing piece.
Runner up is the IHSH-131 blue and cream check UHF, and what I would have said before the 170 came in.

IHSH-33. Still amazing after all this time - https://www.ironheart.co.uk/content/my-favorite-rugged-wear

Here is an piece I did for a magazine in UK about a year ago:
My Favourite 5 Pieces
Picking just 5 pieces from our line-up is both really easy and really hard. The 5 items I have chosen below really define what we are and what we do, so in a way, picking them was a cinch, but the there are so many other fabrics and cuts that we do that are also my favourites, chat to me over a beer and I really could make your eyes glaze over….
-
IH-634S – This is our signature cut in our signature 21oz indigo selvedge denim. It is the first selvedge jean that we made and it really defines what we do. A classic cut in an ultra heavy denim that is amazingly wearable and breathes really well. This is the jean and the denim that set us on our way. This jean/denim combination still outsells anything else we make 11 years after it was first released. I truly believe that this is the jean by which all other heavyweight jeans should be measured.
-
IH-666S – It’s difficult for me to diss this jean, the cut was my idea and the denim was woven to my specifications by Haraki. It is what we call a grown up slim jean, It’s not overly slim and is now my go-to cut, and I’m getting on a bit. The denim is a nice deep indigo, with a slight slub. It’s a loom state denim and fades with amazing contrast.
-
IH-101tg – One of the items that we are really well known for, and doing better than anyone else is our Ultra Heavy Flannels (UHF’s). We use Aspero cotton to make this fabric, Aspero is a naturally occurring cotton, that can’t be farmed, it is found in the foothills of the Andes and has amazing long fibres. This allows us to create a really heavy but incredibly soft flannel. We make lots of designs and colourways in UHF, but may personal favourite is the turquoise/grey we made at the suggestion of Paula, my wife. We have about a dozen styles being released on the second half of 2016. These (like all our stuff) are not cheap, but I recently visited the workshop where we make them and came away thinking, “shit, how do we sell them for so little!”, the effort, care, skill and patience used is mind boggling.
-
IHSH-21 – Our selvedge chambray takes chambray to another level, we make a few cuts in it in both blue and black, but I have chose the blue work shirt. Our work shirts have a slightly more relaxed fit than our westerns and whilst being the quintessential work shirt, and looks brilliant with blue jeans, I have got away with wearing one with a tie at a wedding
-
IHSH-33 – You want a classic indigo denim western shirt. Then this is it. 12oz indigo selvedge denim. Enough said…..

Giles said it better than I could. The 634S was my very first Iron Heart purchase and still, after 6+ years, my favorite pair of jeans.

I think that my favourite Iron Heart piece is the IHB-04 Monster Two Prong Belt. It's completely over the top, and I fell in love with it at an event in Gosvegas a couple of years ago.
My favourite jeans are the IH-1955-UHR. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to wear them out, which is good because they're now extinct.
Unfortunately they're generally a bit heavy to wear in the Australian climate.
I also really like the IHSH-88, which is the red chambray shirt done in collaboration with Los Pinguinos.
Unfortunately, due to "Lifter Problems", mine is a bit tight, so no longer fits me properly.
My most worn piece at the moment are the IH-708 hickory cargo pants. They're light enough for the Australian summer, and @Giles assures me that they'll look epic with a lot of wear.
-
MBB's the 25oz was a bitch at first but I wore them for 2 years solid and they became so soft.
Don't wear them that much anymore but still love them.33blk is another one of my favourites. That has seen plenty of wear too.

Way too many to pick but of course i love all flannels. All buffalo checks are great, but really outstanding patterns for me are the black 107, 170 and both 137s. Also i think the ihm15 deck coat is the best and most practical winter jacket I've ever owned.
And finally the black cotton duck type iii (i always forget the number) is one of those items that i thouroughly love. -

I wear mine everyday!

Not sure if it's just me but so many broken images on this page, @Giles.
FYI, running Google Chrome.

Not just you FWIW. Mine load as they are on photo bucket (Giles side). All the others were somehow re-written to use the Cloudfront CDN, but the image does not exist on the CDN..

I would pick my 21 oz 526J Type III jacket: it's so versatile and looks amazing over anything. Simply the best denim jacket (no offence to the Lefty Trucker fans out there :)). My runner-up would be a 666XHS, I even wore them in summer (!!!) but sadly I outgrew mine some time ago (I'm sure I'll get a 25 oz replacement in the future). Third placed is the 33 indigo. An amazing and classic piece. I like IH most for its incredible denim so no surprise the top three is dominated by it.

IHSH-33
My first piece of iron Heart. It's been everywhere with me and I've even spent a week snowboarding in it in The Alps last year.IHxRH666s and IH-526L tie for second.
The jeans are just perfect for me and I bloody love Rivet & Hide.
The jacket I got the day before my son was born and fits so, so well. It was a grumpy bastard for a long time though. -
My most worn flannel ever: black IHSH-48
My most worn sweater: green IHSW-10.
For bottoms: My 6634 blow me away.
But my most worn IH product(s) are my IHT-3000. I wear an IH tee every freaking day, so Ill go with that.

Very hard to pick one. But one of the things I've come to appreciate about my gear is the way that items that turned out less than perfect initially, become loved with use and the passage of time. My 666XHS fall into that category. My first experience with the 666 cut , I was still something of a noob with fitting IH bottoms and all sorts of issues popped up.
I had them hemmed too long, mistakenly thinking stacks worked with everything. When I realised my error I couldn't bring myself to send them off for a "a trim". The openings of the jeans are now shredded as a result of cuffing, stacking, dragging on the floor.
The cut itself isn't the best for me either. But at the time it was the best bet for me to get into the 25oz. So I lived with a funky fit and just enjoyed the fight with the denim, (and it was quite a fight). The first signs of blow out came after about 50 days wear (squat thighs, and deadlift butt did their damage) and these became the first jeans I fixed myself.
Now, after about 120 days actual wear since I got them in November 2016, they seem a little softer every time I put them on, a little bit more worn and a little bit more "mine". They have come to represent the epitome of Iron Heart stubbornness for me and I adore them.
I can't not mention vests here, so I'm also going to give honourable mention to my IHV-09. An extremely classy bit of kit. Form, function and fabric in perfect harmony.
And last of all for a shirt, I'm going with my 68-IND. My first experience with IH wabash ([emoji170]), my first work shirt, and a shirt I work in. Brilliant.

I would say my very first pair of 634s. I had lost a lot of weight and decided to buy a nice pair of jeans, when I got them I had some reservations but Giles spoke to me about how the jeans would eventually sit naturally and look better. They sat in the closet for a bit and the first of the year I decided to break them in properly. I think in two months since I have worn them everyday but two… when they were washed and drying. They are so damn comfortable. Other than that I would say my 99 will be right up there. Ive always liked black shirts and the fit just worked for me and I can see it becoming a frequent wear item.

Bottoms: Even though I wear my 633s 90% of the time, my all time favorite pair is my DC4001. It was my first real foray into high end denim and that feeling is hard to replicate. Plus, they are probably the most detailed pair of IH bottoms out there: Half lined pockets, an embroidered tab, selvedge belt loop, off centered back loop, extra large leather tag, duck lined pockets, etc. An epic pair!
Shirting: IHSH-22 & IHSH-26bk: My first two IH shirts and I really dont NEED anything else. The 22 is amazingly soft, layers well, and still looks brand new after 6 years. The 26bk is my go to summer shirt and has been been washed at least 60 times. I was worried about durability given how light it is, but year after year it only gets better. Plus, I love the backed buttons, chain stitched pockets, and neon green runoff. I need to find another someday or convince G&H to dip one of the USN chambrays [emoji6]
Jackets: IHJ-08 -light, warm, and tough as nails.
Hardware: IH mid cordovan wallet. My wife gave it to me for our 10 year anniversary and I wouldnt trade it for anything!
