The 888 Fatboy Chocolate World Tour
-
thanks @neph93. I think I found the cut I would love to own in IH jeans.
In related news, this is the last stop on the tour before I send them back to @Megatron1505 for the final leg with the OG owner of the jeans. I have one more week with these beauties.
Our lives are all a bit "rinse and repeat", but I put these through the paces as best I could over the first 3 weeks.
I still have the wife's birthday, Memorial holiday, and more fishing, so I hope to end with a bang.

Excellent tour leg @jordanscollected , I’m afraid that the final leg of this tour will mean these suckers getting seriously messed up as they join me the in the joys of renovating a Victorian house when we move next month
-
That sound like a perfect ending to the tour!!!
much better than the ending of Game of Thrones, and the IH story is writing itself.

Tacocat has impeccable taste in hiding spots

More fishing. Better weather. Great friends. My buddy caught a huge one!
-
We went down to St Paul for a quick mini date night. St. Paul is Minnesota’s capital city. (many think it’s minneapolis). Pizza at Cosetta. A massive Italian eatery.
-
More time with the horses. Training takes a long time and is a slow process. Confidence (even if your faking it) is the key to gaining trust with a horse. If you are scared, they will take full advantage.
I shattered my softball bat last Monday on a 3 homerun night. The new bat is here and I hope it brings as much success as the one going in the trash.
A few more pics from our mini St. Paul date. the river has been flooded all year causing road closures and chaos all over the state.

Grilling and Fishing is my rinse and repeat in the summer. The color on this bass looks like it's CGI. Please forgive the non-world tour denim as it was supposed to be an 85 degree day and then it inexplicably hovered around 60 with high winds
-
And as quick as it began, it has been 30 days and my time is up….
I want to thank @Megatron1505 for "forgetting" that these were in circulation so they could land in my lap for one of the last legs of the tour.
Also, I will not be sending chocolate back with these as I worry about them getting hung up at International customs.
However Gavin, when you receive them check the watch pocket there's something in there for you.
lastly @Giles, no one in MN carries your brand. What is the best method to change that? the best bet would be BlackBlue https://www.blkblu.com/ followed by Martin Patrick3 https://www.martinpatrick3.com/

Thank you @jordanscollected , you have honoured the tour with a fantastic last leg on the road. I move house in a little over two weeks, so if you won’t get a chance to ship them out any time soon please hang on to them for another couple of weeks and i’ll Send you my new address

Thank you. We'll reach out to BlackBlue. We find that IH does not (well historically, has not) work well in a retailer that stocks stuff other than clothing, of clothing related product.
EDIT. Alex has reached out to them twice over the last few months they have not responded. Shame looks like a good fit, but you can take a horse to water, but…......

And they’re back, three days until the house move and then begins the final leg of the tour as I bore you all with photos of decorating and DIY. Get ready lots of pictures of step ladders and paint, it’s going to be WILD!!!

There is nothing boring about domestic life in Mansfield!!

True, it’s like bungee jumping from the Petronius Towers after consuming two bottles of vodka, strapped to a baby elephant. We live hard here man

Apologies for slacking with the posts since the jeans were returned to me, moving house has been both hectic and time consuming. Anyway, I’ll start at the beginning…..
Last week we moved from a modest, 1939 built, two bedroomed semi-detached house, on a nice street in a rough part of town to a large three bedroomed semi-detached house in the nicest part of town. The house we left had been our family home for 17 years, it was the first house that Pam and I bought together, where we lived when we got married, and the first home that our boy Tommy had ever known, however the area it is in has never been great and recently it has become much worse.
So we decided to move, and fortunately for us we managed to find a house in my favourite part of town which was being sold by the family of a very elderly couple on their behalf after they moved to a much smaller property near their family. The upside to this for us is that we managed to buy a relatively large property in the best part of town for a great price, the downside being that the property needs a hell of a lot of cosmetic, and some structural work carrying out before we’ll be fully happy with our new home. However, money definitely is an object so we’ll be doing what we can, when we can.
So we moved in here last Tuesday………
Here are a few “before” pictures, so you can see what we’re working with here……
-
The day after we moved in, we set to work on the largest room of the house, which will eventually be Tommy’s bedroom/ games room/ cinema/ crib….
Here’s the mid point of the “master” suite renovations…..
-
And here is where we are at now…..
Oh yeh, and this is what the jeans look like after renovating room one….
