IH-888-UHR - Indigo UHR 21/23oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut
-
I have 1955 UHR, Beatle buster UHR, and 888 UHR. They all feel the same to me. Which is great.

Well that's good that everyone doesn't see a difference. My history is mostly with the 666 cuts; but I just can't get used to the way the upper block settles on my frame. I am sure most of it is in the fact that the denim hasn't settled yet.
My 888-uhr's have about 5 months of wear on them; office time, kid time, getting tacked by my Doberman time, and they just got their 3rd wash yesterday. My dog gave me a hug after running through wet grass that I just got done getting watered. ::)
So regarding fit, I hope this last wash helps; the 666-uhr's are my all-time favorite but they kept on shrinking and shrinking and now they are just too tight on my thighs. The 888's that I'm wearing now just haven't felt that same "it" factor, yet…

3rd wash was the charm!
16.3" rear rise
13.6" thigh
Size 38Can't believe how much more fitted they seem…i really thought I gave them a good vigilant wash in pretty hot water before. I was wrong!
So in total, I had 1 soak and 2 washes in the warmest tap water my city has before this... I really can't imagine much more shrinkage coming. So for anyone else wondering, that's my story.

I’m agitated all the time and my jeans just stay the same size.
I’ll be here l week folks.

Great fit man. Everything else fees cheap to me now. Can’t wear anything else.

I love my 888NT. They fade so fast. You’re gonna love yours.

Yes, unless you want your jeans to shrink a whole bunch when they finally see hot water. By that time though they’ll be ruined because the stitching will have broken and there’ll be tears at the sharply creased areas.
This is loomstate denim. It has seen no water since it was dyed with indigo. Until it is soaked and washed the stitching isn’t embedded and the denim is prone to creasing and tearing.
Sage advice…. I'm following it now, sans machine wash.
Legs only, cancelled. Whole pants are submerged.
