Converse

Stoked that I found these in my size (I think) on eBay for $75. They’re from a collection Nike and Converse put out recently based on an old NBA championship ad campaign that featured fake basketball teams from the 70s. One of the teams was the Roswell Rayguns so as a New Mexico transplant I had to track them down.

The Chuck 70s are cool too so it’s only a matter of time…

Those are sweet!  I've never tried Converse leather basketball shoes, I dig the style though.

Me neither.  Everything I’ve read says they’re TTS so I hope a half up from my Chucks will work.  If not they’re NIB so I’m sure someone here can help me out.

Agreed. There’s a Blazer version of the Rayguns as well.  Nikes fit me weird so I didn’t think using them for a size comparison would work.  It’s the only shoe I size up in.

How do those breathe?  I have a few pair of the Nike mid blazer 77, which have a similar look, and they do NOT breathe well.

I like ‘em! Though I’m resistant to the idea of logos, and I’m pretty sure that’s just woolrich branding.
