I posted on the other thread you suggested. But yes. I was born in 1963 Athens Greece. The only summer Olympics i competed was Moscow 1980 during the boycott which did not really effect the level of weightlifting as in those times it was really dominated by the Eastern block countries and always China. I did compete in 2 European championships and a bunch of Balcan meets.

Oh well. I tried :D.
Any idea when the 19oz lefty will be introduced in other cuts? I read a thread a little while back that it was coming in other cuts besides the 666 and 634.Yes, all 5 cuts. We received the samples last week, I would think at the end of this year we will see production. At the Crew BBQ last Thurs, @Graham was wearing one of the samples, hell they are hairy

This is my favorite Denim. By now the only fabric i have not tried from IH is the 14oz. The XSH is fabulous but there is something about that 19oz lefty that speaks to me.

Yes i do. Character and maybe a little old school nostalgia. My 634's oddly have not gotten much leg twist yet but still early. Only been washed once in 6 months. I sit on my ass most of the day at work so they dont get dirty.

I got a pair of these in size 34 during a sale last year, about the time that I put on a few kilos from the Covid lockdowns and coming off some medication…
I can just do the buttons up now, though I have a terrible muffin top, and they are very tight through the thighs. I need to lose another few kilos to get into them comfortably. I probably should avoid squatting too, though my back isn't enjoying that at the moment, so...

There are no 38's left, we just have 32, 33, and 34 coming….Sprry....
Giles, is there any chance we'll see any size 36 in the not too distant future? I'd really like to pick up a pair or two of these.
-
Fantastic! Thank you Giles - I appreciate it.
-
Seems like there needs to be a rerun if these in all size 36 or 38
-
Do you mean 30 of every size 30 through 40?! Or just 60?
-
Ah thanks. That's interesting.
-
Thats a great point @Neph93. It would be lovely if it can be worked out!
-
All you have to do is buy 30 size 38s @yannis
-
Lol. I will be dead b4 i can wear a third of them.

Well, this last week has been a good one for me. I finally have not one, but two pairs of IH-463S, and these are quite literally the best jeans I've ever owned.
I need to thank a few people - first @Appfaff for kindly offering to sell me a pair of lightly used 463S in my size. In an interesting twist, these same jeans came to Adam from @sabergirl, who has also been thoroughly helpful with my incessant fit questions. These well-traveled jeans fit like a glove, and the cut is perfect. Thanks for being so thoughtful Adam. I'll try to get some photos to share soon.
Then, the day the used pants arrived, the wonderful IHUK staff sent me an email letting me know that they'd also located a brand new pair in my size. Knowing that the 463S is a rare bird, I agreed to purchase these as well. The brand new pair arrived yesterday, and they're fantastic. It's been really interesting getting to feel a broken-in pair along side a crisp new pair in the same size and cut. The measurements are very similar, but the used pair feel remarkably different - it gives me something to look forward to as I break in 21oz denim for the first time. Of particular note is the fact that the new pair feel significantly tighter, even when the measurements aren't much different than the broken-in pair. They are a little bit snug to begin with, and I think that means that they'll be perfect (not baggy) when they stretch and break in.
Many people have commented on the "magic" cut of these jeans, and I'll add my voice to the chorus. These are special. They are a mid-rise jean, but the high rise in the back keeps your butt covered when you bend over. They easily fit over all my pull-on boots, both narrow and wider shafts. They're a perfect pairing with my growing collection of Wesco boots. The subtle taper at the knee keeps them looking trim, while the flare at the hem is subtle enough that they fit over large boots without looking like bell bottoms. For my build and tastes, these are more flattering than the 634S I tried on at Self Edge. I remember reading that the 463S is great for people who want the 634S to work for them, but don't like the roomy knee. It all makes sense now.
It's hard to explain how rare it is for me to find jeans that work this well. With size 13 feet and pull-on boots, most pants that "fit" over boots hang up where the top of my foot meets my ankle (because my feet and boots are dimensionally larger than most people my size). The jeans bunch up unless they're hemmed shorter than I like, which makes my feet look even bigger. This is why I can't do a 666 cut - I need at least 9.5" of hem width.
I hope I'm not offending anyone who loves the 634 or the 666 - I just have very specific tastes and needs, and I'm very excited to find something that works perfectly for me. If you like a boot cut jean, these are a great option.

Excellent news Jim @jimmer_5 - and how lucky of you to have two pairs!! I'm so glad you found a cut that works great for you. I too can't wait for the temps to get out of the 90s so I can rock my pair!!
