ZIPS-ROSETTE - GOOD ART HLYWD Rosette Zippo
-
Anyone know what this piece retails for?
-
This was such a cool piece. I wonder why it was discontinued. This, as part of the desert sessions, would look super nice.

It really is a cool piece. I’m drawn to GAH stuff that is also functional, besides beautiful. I own this, the St. Chris key chain and the Belt Loop Buddy. About to light up the tobacco…
About the lighter…how long should the lighter fluid last for? I only occasionally light up a cigar and I find that I generally have to fill it up every time. Is this normal if you only use it every 2-3 weeks?

Same here. The fact that I haven't seen anyone sell one of these in all this time speaks for how much those that own it must enjoy owning one. As for the lighter fluid: I don't smoke or anything, but I can imagine that in warmer weather, the lighter fluid could evaporate quicker, thus explaining the more frequent need of refilling it. Honestly, I just love the "click" sound of Zippos so much. It's satisfactory in a way that I can't explain. If I ever had a Zippo, I'd mainly carry it with me all the time for that sound. And the GAH upgrade would only contribute to the pleasure.

The old school zippo is just like that - unless you smoke constantly and have a habit to refill regularly you will find yourself dry in the moment you will need it the most.
I also love the click and use the flame occasionally so I found that the only reasonable option was butane insert. -
Thanks for the confirmation guys. I was just concerned that something was awry with mine…I’m fine refilling it every time I need it
