IH-555-XHSib - 25oz Selvedge Denim Super Slim Jeans - Indigo/Black
-
[After wearing my PBJ's for 12 month Blue Owl comp and then the IH-555XHSib it's clear that IH is meant to endure loads abuse over time. Hence their moniker "the stubborn crew" .. I think the results over a 2 year period would be incredible.
I'm really curious how many wears a pair of IH XHS can handle until they truly start falling apart. I've seen numerous people say that IH jeans last much longer than most other brands. I'm planning on wearing this pair to shreds. I think I'll be in for the long haul!
For sure they will only get better as the years go on. I'm just happy I have a pair of the indigoxblack iteration. They are my favorite so far. Really interested in the new XHS that is coming out. Anyone know about when they will be released?
If you want to see a super duper faded pair of XHS, check out @swissjeansfreak on Instagram. If you scroll down a bit, you'll see what I'm talking about. His pair is just over 1000 wears and unwashed! Crazy…](https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=16158)

I’ve had my 666-XHS for over 4 years. Wear them all the time. The crotch has had to be repaired twice, but I blow out crotch’s for fun on almost any jean I wear. They’re still
Going strong.I'm starting to see a crease near the seat of my pair that is starting to fray. Not sure if it will lead to a rip but time will tell I suppose.

I got this pair and started wearing a little bit before the indigo competition so I stopped this pair. My one year is almost up and I’m really looking forward to getting these back into regular rotation. They’ve been my cheat days when my comp pair has been drying. Lol.

It’s as if these jeans have a “crossroads” point from what I’ve seen here and comparing my own ! It’s pretty crazy on how it develops depending on the use/washes/other factors
These are my riding jeans shy of 70ish wears and they’re barely starting to develop some high contrast fades & the threads are starting to pop up a bit under bright day light.
They’re turning brown/purplish too from wrenching on bikes. This fabric is just amazing
Zero washes or soaks so far but I did ride through an hour of torrential downpour which gave the right leg some twist

@Oaktavia, I checked out swissjeansfreak's pair of XHS on Instagram. 1000+ wears, and unwashed! The pair looks really impressive. And probably smells awful!
Sure, will post some pre- and post-wash pics!

Great looking pair @f12! They still have that nice raw denim shine to them, despite the rain.

@twin @Lowlander @f12 You guys! i love the look of your still dry Indigo x Black ???. If i wasn't competing in the Indigo Invitational i think i would've opted to keep mine dry as well.. The beautiful dry/shiny look is unbeatable! keep us posted and i'd love to see a pair heavily worn and still dry.. I feel like @swiss-jeansfreak wanting to see "heaviest faded raw denim still dry 400 wear days later!!!" Awesome job guys

I don't want anywhere near them!

@alexswords Just took a lot of fade photos. Will be posting them soon.

Here you go LOTS of fade pics.
Nice looking pair dude! For sure each of the pairs on here are unique, with or without washes. I love all of the results and the fades are all one of a kind. It's a different sort of visual color and texture.
I've been wearing my new 555-01 and might be benching my 555XHSib early this year…
