@tvenuto I agree. I always go for the quality over quantity. At 600 CAD for these its a bit of a stretch, but I will be wearing them for years. I look in my wife's closet and see about 100 pairs of jeans that are basically "disposable" fashion. Ive got about 5 pairs that I wear regularly and will last basically forever. I also never wash them so im saving water too! ;D.

Looking good Bro!!! Making me excited to get mine in a few days.
For the first time ever, I sized down, and (I hope) I am ready for "the fight"…..
Ganbatte!

Thanks a lot.
I like these so much I am thinking about buying the last 38. Seriously tempted.

If you could rerun half as many this time around- and then make some sort of vest that has a zipper and snap closure, that also has size 4XL, that'd be great.
-
The small leg openings facilitate very easy stacks. I mean, they were no effort at all.
-
We have enough of this fabric to make another 300 somethings. We may rerun the 555 or the 888….
Since you brought this up, I've never really understood statements like "We'll never run this fabric again" or the one you just made. Why is it that certain fabrics can't be made or purchased again? Cost prohibitive? Or more of a desire to change things up?
-
@Paul9221 there's always a chance that they will rerun something if the demand supports it. Like the original 25 XHS was originally made for VMC Original. But the demand was so huge that they kept making it. But you also have to take into account the expense of making denim like this. Because it is a pain in the ass for the denim mills to make, with often about 75 percent is unusable waste… there's often no financial incentive for them to make more.

My pleasure.

I know it's an impossibility… but a 526L made from this fabric would be amazing.

Well, got my iB in today….and I must say my fingers almost broke cuz of the damn button fly! HOLY HELL! Had UHR, 25oz OD...but this was a true torture....but all worth it as they fit beautifully. I am going to wear them for a bit before I do a first soak, just my ways of doing things. Besides the 25oz OD, which I sadly haven't worn in a year.... this is my only other 25oz and I must say, I can already feel that this is going to break in beautifully soft after hard wear.
This is an insane piece of denim, love it.
P.S. @joephoto I agree, but the 18oz OD 526 is the best
-
@Filthy how much inseam shrinkage did you get with your hot soaks? Thanks!

I might have to revisit the 526OD at some point. It's on my list, but I love my 526L

Ok, thanks Filthy 1/2" might be great, might try to push it to 1" with hot drying just the legs down the road.

These are sitting at my house now! If I can remember I’ll do pre/post soak measurements tonight.

If you can I'll be eternally grateful… @Matty123 did a good job of documenting the samples on his thread but the more info the better. I have the price of these jeans invested in the shrinkage as I've sized down and most of the measurements will work before and after some shrinkage, the waist however is going to be scary…
