IHSH-227-IND - 12oz Wabash CPO Shirt - Indigo
Our western-style CPO shirt, made from 12oz Japanese Wabash—a fabric with origins rooted in centuries-old workwear. To create this authentic Wabash, we individually rope-dye both the warp and the weft yarns (unlike traditional Wabash denim which would feature a natural or white weft) before weaving them into a twill fabric. The distinctive pattern is then bleached into the fabric post-weave, creating more contrast between the dots and the base colourway. This means that while the rope-dyed yarns are designed to fade and evolve with beautiful character, the signature Wabash dots remain prominent as the fabric ages. Being a CPO cut, this shirt offers a little more length in the body than our standard western cut, with oversized copper snap fastenings and additional side hand warmer pockets.

very nice!
Extant I presume? -
Not that Haraki would ever do it, but a black Wabash front and back yoke would look cool on this.

Will there ever be an 18oz version of this bad Larry ??

Unlikely on the basis that there is a 12oz wabash in near constant production and a run of 21oz wabash done recently that may or may not become a permanent IH fabric. Given that wabash doesn’t sell like denim I doubt whether there is a market for anything midweight. Never say never though. It may happen one day.

I see in the last post that there is a 21oz wabash produced. Does anyone know if there will be westerns or CPO’s made from this fabric?

Thanks Alex, I guess there is no reason for me to wait then!
