btw do you make diy projects alone or with someone? what is more fun for you?
I just tend to do it alone to be honest. Purely because only one of my mates has any interest in giving this sort of shit a go (and we are always both busy with work) and also i have a very stressful job and i find that drawing is a good release (although i rarely get the chance to do it.
Let me know what youre thinking of doing and if there are any reference materials etc that i can point you in the direction of, i would be happy to help.

A small belt pouch I made today when I had some free time.

Super cool @Anesthetist ! Keep up the good work!

Nice strap and super nice Tuna!
-
thanks
the strap is thick as hell & so it suits the tuna pretty well. I've had the straps for a few years but never had a heavy enough watch to suit it.

@madmonday super nice combo! Nice to see one of my straps getting proper use. Haven't done any leatherworking in a loooong time..
Which makes me want to stroll down memory lane to the first post in this thread..
@Jii:Here's a wallet I made earlier this year that gets a lot of use:
Here's the same wallet today Used almost daily for over 4 years. Jeans arent that crisp either at this point but still in rotation

that's a damn shame you haven't done any leather work in a while. you are really good @ it, but I understand those bikes aren't going to ride themselves

My belt hook is too small for my samurai belt, so I tried some other options:
1. Well, that's ridiculous
2. DIY para cord loop
Option 2 is okay for the moment, but I think it's time to order some leather, a clasp and some thread to start my first leatherwork project. -
A bit of recent street art, a joint project with a friend (toothfairy.tm on instagram)

Finally finished a home improvement project I've been working on intermittently for a few months now. As with most of my projects, it didn't come out entirely as planned, and there are several things I'd do differently, but it still worked out ok.
From this:
To this:
Color is most accurate on the last picture. There's an outside chance I'll change the top, (I'm not in love with the plywood, aesthetically) but until then, I have a place to put my drinks…

My belthook did not fit over my heavy Samurai belt, so I decided to make something by myself. I also made a lanyard for my keys at my new job + a bracelet. Had a lot of fun, now I need more tools and more leather.
