I met a dude in full camo today just going into the bush. He had the scariest cross bow contraption I have ever seen and the tips to the arrows - well they scared the shit out of me too. When I tentatively pointed at one of the arrow tips, his answer, "Oh yes, that'll stop anything up to a large Bok dead in it's tracks" - A large Bok is bigger than a large cow - holy shit….............

@simon626:
Sonic drive ins are in basically every town in Texas and they sell tater tots (deep fried, of course). I love that place.
On a related note, anyone who doesn't love fresh hot french fries has a shriveled up raisin for a soul.
On another related note, Well done fries from IN-N-Out are super awesome. They cook it so it's sorta crunchy and never soft.
If you come to the West Coast you should check them out!
Looks like a double-double "animal" style? I've chomped a few 3x3's and 4x4's that way. Glad to have these big glommits…

I'm not originally from the west coast so i don't really get the hype over In n' Out… they're just ehh ok to me. The hamburgers are alright but i can't stand the fries. Everyone loves the fries but i think they're weird. Meh.

Today we had a little fire at work. We had to evacuate with some haste. Pissed cause security wouldn't let me run to my office and grab my Iron Heart flannel… she survived, but now stinks. Feck.
To make matters worse, UPS has been held up by all the snow, holding my raw denim western shirt en route from the castle. Double feck!
An extra glass of Pinot Noir tonight...

We have Five Guys Burgers here on the east coast, and they're just as good
They're everywhere now. At least three is SoCal, one right near work. I loved 'em when I was in VA so I'm glad they're around. They'll never have the nostalgia factor InO will, though. When I lived out east I used to have people freeze and ship me InO at least once month.

www.wankamleung.comAlex, no need to start shouting, or getting irritated. This was my opinion, and still is.
You may think he's the most bad-ass there is, but it doesn't change the fact that I value some other masters/Sensei's higher. I'm familiar with sifu Leung, he's good, but…not my cup of coffee. -
I used to do Wing Tsun too back in the days, Leung Ting style. I got to 4th student grade under Sifu Emin Boztepe just before he left the organization. Shortly after he left I also quit because I didn't like all the drama within the organisation. I do have very nice memories from that time and hold Wing Tsun/Chun in high regard as a style.
That said, all martial art styles have their pros and cons and I do not think that there is one that is better than the other. Do what you like and like what you do.

I had a conversation with a coworker a couple months ago when he asked me what was the best style for self/home defense. Of course he rattled off the usual suspects: kung fu, tae kwon do, karate…etc
I explained to him that the "winner" of a self defense situation is the guy who dies second and home defense simply involves an expensive firearm and cheap wallpaper
I think my answer was more than what he was willing to accept
