That's always a great time @Chap !!
In a few hours, it's Joe Russo's Almost Dead at Red Rocks, and then Thievery Corporation at Levitt Pavilion tomorrow. Levitt does an excellent free concert series as well @Matt whenever you come up to tick Red Rocks off your list. Calexico is on there this season among many other great acts (we paid to see Thievery, but it was like $25). It's a great outdoor venue in a park with a natural amphitheater formed by hills.

Man, haven't listened to thievery corporation in ever
-
one of my favorite new bands off my favorite record label (Church Road Records). So jealous most of their bands are from the UK

Personal faves->
Helpless (sludgecore/grind/whatever, its sick)
Wowod (a bipolar post metal/blackened dbeat band. tracks 1 3 5 7 post metal, 2 4 6 blackened d beat)
Cruelty (very cleveland/integrity chaotic hardcore)
Burner (chaotic death metal/death core/hardcore)
bigLOVE (atmospheric sludge like Thou but slightly faster and therefore catchier)
Tuskar (if you love Mastodon's old stuff . . . )
Grivo (shoegaze/slowcore)
Outlander (shoegaze/slowcore) -

Outlander (shoegaze/slowcore)Cool, some solid stuff here. Already aware of the new Helpless release and think it’s great. I used to really like the stuff put out on Holy Roar records which went to shit after some allegations against the label boss. It looks like quite a few acts migrated to Church Road, which I was totally unaware of . Thanks again

Holy Roar reminds me of posting on the old B9 board. That 2005-2015ish time frame produced so many killer bands like Rot In Hell, On Thin Ice - that whole Clevo/Holy Terror scene, A389 Records, the whole lot. So many hidden gems.

theres a band on Church Road called candescent AD that gives me big ringworm vibes. just put out an ep apparently theyre working on an lp
-
Otis has been growling out the window for the past 15 minutes because of the samples on “Dogs”
He’s not the smartest, even by dog standards…
-
I used to count Pink Floyd as my absolute favorite band (I don't know if I have one any.kte) but Animals tends to fly under the radar, solid listen

Absolutely @Joberwocky @mclaincausey
