IH-6634 - Double Weave Cord Straight Cut Jeans

I don't know if this is just something totally random, but I feel like the customers (as in active forum members) were more "street oriented" years back. Perhaps cord wasn't always on the radar back then. Now, however, the crowd seems quite a bit more mature and might respond well to things that didn't sell before. Could be bs though haha, but at least an observation..

Sometimes it is just strange what sells and what doesn't. To bad these have been before my IH times.

Concur. Maybe you'll find a crate of leftovers in Japan, or under a bench. Or not….

I've thought this a few times myself, but I don't know how we could really know if that were the case. A chord type III and a smart waist coat (not necessarily together) would be instacops for me, but I actually think I'm in the minority.

Now I know who the competition is!!! Totally kidding, of course. Did you bid on the 9634s or 634S-19L?
Friendly competition! So obviously you know if those don't work I best be getting a PM!
Only the 6634. No need to buy stuff on eBay that I can get new from Giles.

First post–hello, all!
I'm one of the aforementioned slimsters (height: about 5'8", weight: 125 lbs.) who's been eyeing the last pair of olive pants, but I'm not quite sold on the sizing--primarily, the waistband; the rest of the top block seems like it would fit me just fine, if maybe a wee bit tight, but that's what stretching. Hearing that it should be a size up from normal has me a little nervous about pulling the trigger, as I'm not sure the waist would stretch enough to make this a comfortable fit. Which is a shame, because I'd love to have a pair of these tapered slim.
For reference, I'm currently rocking a pair of the Naked & Famous Elephant 4's in the Weird Guy fit--and I probably could have used the Skinny Guy fit instead; these have plenty of room as is. Given that, is there a possibility that these could be stretched enough in the waist to make a snug fit?

Measure your ideal pair of pants the IH way, then compare the measurements to the 6634 size chart. I'd say if you're within a 1/4" or 1/2" on the waist, and room enough in the thighs, you should be okay. The thighs won't stretch. If you put the waist under a little stress, it probably will stretch a little bit. But not how denim stretches.

I had an olive pair and foolishly had too much hemmed off. So gutted, but I had to sell them. I loved them. If anyone has an olive 34 in decent shape, I will pay original retail.
