@Steve Fingers crossed that the measurements work out well! And great job on taking a risk and covering a very niche area. I really like the design and functional pockets and would, if the measurements worked well, be delighted to have this and probably at least a black one in my wardrobe for those times when I need to dress business casual/casual.

...That said, I appreciate your suggestion! And hopefully my frustration with the struggle of things that I really like and want not fitting well didn't come across as me receiving your comment bad or something

RE: SaturdayTypeFever - Sashiko Blazer - Indigo
@goosehd For almost the price of this blazer (maybe 150-200€ more), I would be able to get a two-piece, made-to-measure, 100% wool suit or five made-to-measure 100% cotton dress shirts. I've ordered the latter before and it actually worked out really well and the quality was surprisingly good/not bad. But to my knowledge, those kinds of websites don't offer textured fabrics like Sashiko and in this specific case, I can't wait a minimum of four weeks that it would take them for the production and etc.
Long story short: Buying this blazer for a comparable price as the aforementioned custom-made clothing AND spending extra on then having it tailored in multiple areas, messing with the integrity of the original product and design in various ways is a bit of a huge turn off. It's also one of the reasons why I either buy anything Iron Heart if I can be as sure as I can that it'll fit (making sure to measure, comparing with existing, similar clothing etc.) or not but at all, hoping for the next run to fit better or whatever may be the case.

RE: SaturdayTypeFever - Sashiko Blazer - Indigo
I'm currently searching for a simple and good quality Sashiko Blazer, but can't find a single one that could fit me.
I hope that the next run (which is hopefully restocked very soon) has a small size that has smaller shoulders, bigger chest and shorter overall length as well as shorter sleeve length. Wishful thinking, I know
Edited to add that these would very nice to have in black and brown additionally to the Indigo.

RE: IH-727-KHA - 9oz Mercerised Selvedge Cotton Mid/High Rise Tapered Chinos - Khaki
Just messing around and trying to provoke some smirks
But on a more serious note: I perfectly understand and respect the challenges that you have taken on, especially since I've been around long enough to see the changes and struggles you mention. That's why I try (but unfortunately don't always succeed) not to ask for updates to create more pressure.
That said, my aim is to wait (long enough, at least, until the "want" turns into a "need" or an urgency like in this case) as patiently as I can to exclusively buy anything Iron Heart first, instead of looking for another brand's similar product which, in the long run, usually ends up disappointing my expectations of the high quality that I've gotten used to with Iron Heart anyway. Thank you for trying your best to make us 888 lovers happy.

Nah, looks like we'll need to found a "Union of 888 lovers" soon to represent our interests

RE: IH-727-KHA - 9oz Mercerised Selvedge Cotton Mid/High Rise Tapered Chinos - Khaki
FWIW, if I have a choice to begin with, I always prefer having snap buttons (and even wanted to have the other rear pocket pimped up with a snap button) which is why I wanted these over the 731s.

RE: Luggage Bags and Packs
Does anyone have Bleu de Chauffe's "Report Business Bag" or anything similar and can share their experiences?

RE: IH-727-KHA - 9oz Mercerised Selvedge Cotton Mid/High Rise Tapered Chinos - Khaki
@Graham Thanks for the update. I'll have to look for other (possibly non-IH) alternatives now as I need some chinos very soon...

RE: GA-S-IHSC - GOOD ART HLYWD Iron Heart x Saint Christopher Pendant
@Kasi +1 This would be very nice. For example Good Art Rosette on the one side, IH bell on the other.

RE: IH-888D - 17oz Duck Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans - Brown
@Alex Thank you for your reply. I'm currently looking for a pair of pants that I can dye dark brown and will consider your point when making my decision. Basically, I was thinking about getting a second pair of 888D to dye those in dark brown since I would only have to go one or two shades darker rather than changing the color of the pants entirely which is riskier to do in general. Also considering other factors such as what is the most comfortable fabric to wear, selvedge, breathability etc.

RE: IH-888D - 17oz Duck Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans - Brown
@Alex Any idea if these could be "overdyed" to another color (e.g. dark brown)? I'm interested if the fabric would accept the dye.

RE: Project RE:LOVE & The Outlet
Just a heads-up that the measurements are missing for this one.

RE: IH-738-GRN - Whipcord Cargo Pants - Army Green
I can only comment on the ripstop cargo pants since those are the only ones I currently own:
My perception and opinion based on the measurements as well as the feeling that I get when wearing them is that the cut of the ripstop cargo pants is more like a baggy 888 due to the high rise than a baggy 634...

RE: End of Season Sale - 15% off - June 21st to June 24th
Genuinely couldn't find anything that I need or want this time around...

RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
Corduroy pants out of the same (or 14 wale like the corduroy jackets) corduroy that will be used for the newly announced corduroy shirts -- 888 cut and dark brown (like the now extinct corduroy jacket)
