Rodinal is still available, albeit under different trade names. Here's one of them: http://www.adox.de/english/ADOLUX/ADOLUX/ADONAL/ADONAL.html
Agfa says R09 One Shot is the same formula as Rodinal but there seems to be a lot of internet debate about whether it's true. I want to like Rodinal but my results with it have been far too inconsistent because of its sensitivity to time/temp/agitation/etc.
my point exactly… im having people coming in offering 40 to 50 bucks for whatever we have left of rodinal but my boss wont sell it because he wants to keep it for his friends
It was only about 5 years ago I discovered how easy and satisfying it was to develop my own black and white film. Just wish I had more time for it.
Tri-x souped in Rodinal, can't beat that for me.
If only Rodinal still existed….
I hear ya Guillaume. Of course you know anything to do with Leica is not gonna be cheap - it's like driving an Aston Martin, just changing the oil is expensive.
Call up Sherry and tell her what's going on and she'll quote you a price. Good luck.
Now, all that said, of course you've tried a fresh battery in the M6…
of course, i feel that it has something to do with the shutter release. the m6 light meter responds to that when press down ever so slightly. i believe something is wrong there.
Glad there are other people here using film. What's the best place to buy it in NYC? Flying there on Thursday and don't want to take a bunch through the xray machines.
It depends, if you want to be treated like cattle go to B&H. But if you go to K&M and say B&H sells it for cheaper you will get it at that price. Plus we actually try to help our customers out, everyone there has a interest in art/photography or is a student in that field major so we all know our stuff when it comes down to it. B&H, "What do you want? Ok, Here your ticket go to that line. Next"
thanks, ill look into golden touch, never heard of it before though. the only real place i know of around my area is nippon and they are a bunch of rip offs. cost me a close to a new pair of iron heart jeans last time to get my last camera fixed. but now i seem to have a problem with my m6. the lightmeter does not seem to work. usually i would not care but it is my night time camera for a project that im doing and the environment im in doesnt really give me a good sense of light if that makes any sense
dont suppose anyone on this forum is a authorized leica repairman ?
a bag would be nice but im leaning more towards a a side bag satchel sort of thing
yeah the skinny fit has got me a little weirded off. i like the way the jean looks by itself but from what ive seen on the internet, everyone that wears it looks like they are wearing tights and not jeans
wow. don't suppose Robert was carrying a camera?
no, im surprised he can still walk. it was just really funny that sid kaplin came in the same time he did. my dumb co worker tried to take a photo of the two of them together but my boss told him "if you take that photo your fired fat man".
Dont know if this can go here but I met Robert Frank and Sid Kaplin today. They were telling jokes to each other while I was fetching his tri-x quota for him.

momotaro x naked and famous
very interesting, im actually dying to know how they feel
killer song and performance, mikeal just gets better and better. if i had heard this in the street id swear it was the studio version.
Depends on what run… The first version ran small - say a tagged 32 was a real 30...
But I'm guessing it's the new run, which fits TTs, and I'd suggest a 31... Cause that 14 oz jeans really doesn't stretch as much as our beloved 21 oz IH jeans lad... Speaking from experience... Had the 05BSPs (1st run)...
Anyhow: call a SE store and listen to them.
I did but didnt really receive the answer I was looking for. They said it runs small like you stated, and also suggested that I try on the Superfuture collab because the cut was very similar but for some reason I dont know if I agree on that. I was also told it depends on my soaking.
This may seem a bit random but I was hoping to get some advice on the fitting of the SE05BSP from the most knowledgeable people I know about jeans. I really like the way these jeans look but unfortunately they are not in stock at the SENY store and I dont feel like ordering them only to have to send them back. I own nothing from Flat head, so maybe you guys can help me out. I wear a size 31 in BB and a 30 in the 301s. Will the size 31 from flat head (waist 32 before soak) shrink down enough for me to appreciate them or not ? If this question sounds stupid just disregard it. Its just i've never had to soak a jean before so i really dont know.
9301's and Busters but sometimes depending on the weather I'll wear my 501xx.
god, i think the 906's will probably be my summer purchase they look to nice
