My wife bought me these brand new off the forum for surprise b-day gift.I love the feel of the fabric and the story behind the jeans, but I'm not positive how i feel about the straight leg (I understand that personal preference is a huge part of this).
The waist and upper block fit great.
I'm looking for opinions on how these fit overall.
thanks for any thoughts

I think they look good! More hem or another cuff might help the silhouette in the leg.
This duck is so crunchy, it doesn’t really settle like denim. At least, my pair hasn’t in about 15-20 wear days. The day I rode them cycling really helped lock in some creases, though. Take ‘em out in the saddle!

Hi @jordanscollected ,
this is a very special and unique gift of your wife. Congrats! As sabergirl and the Dion said:
The LB duck can’t be compared to IH-Denim.
Wash them frequently and they will soften up and fade wonderful!
But this duck will never drape like Denim (what I like).
If you and the LB can sit comfortable in the horse saddle, they will become your favorite riding pants, you can wear to work also. Or vice versa.
The straight legs take a backseat then ;). -
still drying. I'll wear them tomorrow.
First wash after a rather sweaty (in jeans) California vacation. -
Coming along fantastically well Jeff…......perfect Californian apparel I reckon.
What i expected was going to be 50 degree weather turned out to be in the 70's, so it was pretty hot. However I was expecting to wash after this trip, the heat just ensured it.
Cheers.
